I think they took advantage of my niece. She is on disability and I am her representative. She was in her driveway trying to start her car when an employee from M & R Automotive Service stopped and asked her if she was having trouble starting her car. He told her he worked for *** and told her it was not the battery but it might be the starter. I have no idea why he was in Mount Morris, N.Y. when M & R Automotive Service is in Geneseo, N.Y. I didn't know *** went around looking for people that were having trouble starting their car. She couldn't find her new *** card so he told her he needed a credit card number which she gave him. He then went and got a tow truck and towed her car to M & R Automotive Services, he never asked her where she wanted it towed to. They were not the garage where she had all her work done, in fact she had never heard of them. They called her and told her it wasn't the starter and they wouldn't be able to fix it and after doing so she had to pay $108.00 to have it towed to a ********* garage, M & R charged her $124.00 for doing nothing to the car. She also believes they took her 1 year old battery and put an old battery in her car. Their employee told her the battery was fine but the ********* garage told her she needed a new battery because hers was an old battery and it wouldn't hold a charge.
