I wish I could give KIPO zero stars for the terrible experience my mother (a very active 79 year old retired teacher) had purchasing a vehicle because they do not even deserve the one I was forced to give them. My father passed away suddenly in September '23 leaving her with 2 older high-milage cars. I went with her to pick out her first brand new car (that she picked out herself) in October '23. She was told the car she wanted (yellow ***********) would be available FOR SURE by mid December. She did not receive the car until April '24 after being told over and over AND OVER the car would be available in 2 weeks. The whole reason to buy a car when we did was so she would have a new, safe car in the snow this past winter, which did not happen. Had we known it would April before the car was available we would have looked elsewhere, but they kept stringing her along. Once she finally got the car it ran for only 1,500 miles before something in the transmission stopped working (around May 20th) and the whole engine needs to be dismantled to fix it. She does not want a car that has been ripped apart and reassembled so early in it's life because she's been around long enough (and her husband was a mechanic) to know that it will NEVER be the same again. It's now been OVER a month, the car is still not fixed (no available parts???) and ** has refused to refund her for the car even though it has been out of service for over a month. She paid cash for this car to avoid the hassle of monthly payments and doesn't even have the option to stop payments. Her father retired from **, her brother worked there too. She though she would be taken care of, but both ** and KIPO are slow to get back to her on any topic and she is STILL without her own car. I do not recommend KIPO or **.
