I had purchased the wrong size mattress (my error-the delivery person told me the size upon delivery and the Queen was ordered right away) and the date was three days later with the correct size mattress. I had a change in price from a King size to a Queen and was refunded the amount...however...I purchased the mattress on the Labor Day Sale and I was told that I would receive a refund for $500.00 difference and there was a delay in getting a response from the staff and I was told the Regional Manager was going to call me. The sales person (more than one person was involved) and told me it was his error and the District Office would need to approve the transaction. I was told by the Regional Manager that with the sale the brand names of mattresses will not approve the credit since Labor Day was passed and there was nothing he could do for me and that he did speak to Administrative Staff. All of my paperwork is dated 8-31-2024 and this is not right of this Metro Mattress to not honor the refund. I would not recommend purchasing a mattress from this company and knowing how a business could not honor the refund from the District Headquarters etc. I will not recommend this store to purchase mattresses and feel that the store does not honor the "sale price" and if there are any issues in the store or the transaction are rung up wrong with any details-I would not purchase the mattress at all and would advise the customer to walk out of the store. I will continue to follow up with other agencies in order to let other customers aware of the poor policy procedure.Review from Michelle G

They gave me sheets that ripped twice within a period of a few months . When I called to tell them that they had ripped a second time, sales manager Gina O****** from Erie Blvd. East Dewitt store was rude to me. So rude that according to Dakota (her manager) I hung up on her. She then proceeded to look me up online (according to messages I received that showed her name and picture) which felt like stalking. JUST CREEPY! I informed her boss, Dakota, about it and he basically said there is absolutely nothing wrong with her talking to a customer the way she spoke to me, nor is there anything wrong with her stalking me online because it's public domain. He did, however, sound as though he took issue with me rejecting a third pair of ripped sheets, hanging up on her rudeness, and calling to tell him about what appeared to be/felt like her stalking me on social media.Review from Brenda S

It’s very disappointing that I have to write this review. Metro Mattress is a well known business and up until our purchase, I thought they were sincere in customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, they are not focused on customer satisfaction. We purchased a ****** **** ***** mattress from their employee Scotty. He is a great guy and spent a lot of time with us to ensure we were making the right choice of the many mattress’s they carry. He gave us a great price on the mattress and we even opted for an adjustable bed to go with it (again, a great price). The mattress we thought we were getting actually turned out to be a ****** **** ***** Hybrid that was delivered. We didn’t realize it until the next day and we thought it felt different than the one we tried in the store. When we went back to the store to tell them, we were told ‘all sales are final’ and they couldn’t do anything. We expressed our unhappiness and stated that the mattress we received was not the same as what they said we would be getting. Scotty said he would talk with their Management to see if they could correct the situation. He said give them a couple of days and we should get a call. After a week we went back asking for an update and was told, they are still working on it. I call BS. They are stalling and have no intention to making things right and giving us the mattress we thought we were buying. Proceed with caution if dealing with Metro Mattress…..once it’s delivered, you can’t return it and they won’t stand behind their product or the mistake they made by delivering what we thought was the mattress we tried at the store. If Metro Mattress wants to make things right, I’ll gladly change my review to be positive. But as of now, zero stars, would HIGHLY recommend another mattress store.Review from Adam S

My husband and I had such a great shopping experience at the Oneonta location with Ben. He was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and was able to accommodate or different needs and preferences. We will be shopping again in the future!Review from Karen K

I wish their customer service follow up was better for the amount of money we spent on the bed. Didn’t have the sheets in stock with the color we requested in time for the delivery. Multiple phone calls & 2 months later were told they were on back order. Another 2 months still no follow up via phone & when I walk in they look up my order and I am told we have your color and get handed one set of the wrong color when there should have been two. In hind sight we should have gone to the big box store.Review from Br B

I am very disappointed with my experience with Metro Mattress and HIGHlY encourage people go directly through a distrubtor or another agency. I spent $10,000 on 2 matresses and adjustable frames and the bed is very uncomfortable for me. I purchased a *********** which if you buy directly with ****** ***** and youe unsatified they will refund you. The bed was hard as a rock and killing my hips, they dip right into the bed. I went back in the store within the 30 day trail and let the store rep know my hips were hurting and sinking into the bed. She reasured me a needed a softer mattress and put me on a more expensive ****** *****. She never once had be try a spring coil or hybrid mattress. When i attempted to lay on a pillow top she told me it was "junk and get off it, you dont want it" So i bought the softer ****** ***** and not to my surprise it is hurting my lower back and hips. I called metro mattress again and sales rep told me a spring coil like the beauty rest or thr chattem and well might be a better fit but I needed to work with the store i purchased with. When i called the sales rep at my local store she said my ****** ***** is the best bed on the market, the other brand is hard as a rock and garbage. She said ahe sympothized with me and knows pain at night sucks but cant help me. When i called another sales manager to advocate for myself like im in pain, he said i really should have been put on other matresses and sounds like i was pressured into the ****** ***** which he addmited wasnt right and would have a manager call me. Apparently his idea of a manager was the first sales rep that basically already told me to kick rocks. Im not asking them to refund me. Ill pay the $99 restock fee and give them more money and business. Im just asking them to help me find a solution where i can sleep without pain. Apparently they dont care about customer satisfaction even when you spend $10,000. Awful business motto. Do not go to Metro Mattress!Review from Chad V

Just dealt with Kyle and it was the smoothest purchase I have made in years - explained everything to me very simply like I asked and made the process a dream 10 out of 10 recommend Kyle and his Cortland store!
