    My first experience at this dealership was with **** ********. He sold me a black 1500 that I was very pleased with. Overall best purchase experience I've ever had at a dealership. Because of that I continued to bring my vehicle back for services regardless if I could have them done cheaper elsewhere. I appreciated how I was treated as a customer and that earned my loyalty. **** in service and every other advisor has been thorough and welcoming. My service appointments felt more like visiting an old friend for help with a repair. It wasn't until a recent purchase that I had an incredibly discouraging experience here. It was the day that there was an issue with thier financial systems. I was offered an incredible deal to trade for a 2024 - 2500. Upon completing the contract with '*******', I believe, I was offered additional maintenance bundles, to what I explained to him and my salesman, that I was not interested in any type of extended warranty. At the time I had been shown a final sale *************** which later changed drastically due to an extended warranty added to my contract, that ******* tried to insist that I wanted when I confronted the matter. I never received the paperwork for the finance disclosure until I returned to the dealership to address the change, which I only discovered after receiving my first payment notice from the bank. My contract was fixed after my hassling the dealership. However, the excitement on my new purchase was soured by back ended changes and the attempt to confuse me on my initial rejection of additional services. This could happen to other customers or possibly has happened. Other's might not have been or be so lucky or likely to catch the additional charges in time to have it corrected. It's dishonest and an unacceptable consequence to customers putting their trust into a business that they are purchasing from.

    We are sorry to hear of ****************** bad experience.  We do not want anyone to feel like they were unknowingly sold something. ************** did purchase this vehicle while our dealer management system was down due to a national cyber attack we were still able to provide purchase paperwork for all aftermarket products.  When reviewing the deal ************** did sign a contract for the purchase of an extended warranty.  Copies of the paperwork were provided at the time of sale.  When ************** later contacted the dealership and requested we get the contract canceled and his monthly payments adjusted with did exactly that. 

    We are certainly sorry for any confusion and hope ************** will continue to come to Serra Chevrolet for all his vehicle needs.
