I was pressured in purchasing additional 12 week sessions of the weightless semiglutide injections before the prices went up on February 2023. On January 10 2023 I paid for the first 12 weeks of $2400.00 then paid another 4800.00 for 24 weeks on January 27th 2023 and was not told up front that it was not refundable. Also wanted to indicate according to their website the prices did not go up, it is the same price. Dr. Nanda told me it's not refundable (after I prepaid) because according to the State of Ohio if you prepay for a prescription it's not refundable but I want to point out the vial he used on me he used the same vial on two other people so if I prepaid for a prescription that was meant for me only why did he use the same vial on two other people? Also Jiva Med Spa indicates on their website that semiglutide is FDA approved for weight loss, it's not, according to the FDA website, semiglutide is only approved for diabetics not for weight loss. Want to note also that I called Jiva Med Spa in Beavercreek spoke to Danielle, Dr. Nanda's receptionist, she told me that Dr. Nanda did refund 2400.00 but keeping the other 2400.00 because he had to get to his attorney and Human Resources involved....I did not understand that because I wasn't given any indication that it went to an attorney and his Human Resources, it cost 2400.00 of my money to his attorney and Human Resources, they did not explain that to me at all. No paper work was given regarding his attorney and Human Resources, they just kept my 2400.00....bad business.

I requested Jiva Med Spa to give me a refund of $300 for hair removal treatments which I didn’t receive but they refused to refund the payment. My first visit was on October 19, 2020. I met with Dr Nanda for removal of hair on my upper lip area, mustache area which was very small area with not much hair. He told me it would cost $800 for approx eight (8) visits, four to six weeks apart. $100 per laser treatment. I told him it shouldn’t take eight treatments. He said if it is not needed, then I would get my money back. I did not see any Service Agreement, nor was I given a copy for my records. When I was leaving, Jordan came to me with an iPad and told me to sign but did not say it was an Agreement. I signed on the iPad, expecting to get a copy, but did not get anything. My first treatment was with Dr Nanda, it was good. My second treatment was with Lisa and I was uncomfortable. She asked me if I knew which laser was used by Dr Nanda. It was quick and she put the laser in two spots and was done. I wanted to say something about the unprofessional experience but no one was available. My third treatment on January 13, 2021 was also with Lisa. She hit two spots and was done. I was not satisfied. On March 31, I had an appointment with Cindy, no treatment was given since I had a tan after returning from vacation. On May 12 and June 23, treatments were with Jennifer and Molly. They were good. I have received five laser treatments. Two treatments were not worth $100 each. I talked to Danielle and advised her that I was going to my son’s place in Baltimore to baby sit my grand children for an extended period of time. I was not continuing my treatments. I am 78 years old and my hair on my upper lip was growing out white (getting grey hair). Therefore, the laser will not work on the white hairs. I paid for eight (8) treatments, got five treatments and requested a refund of $300. No Agreement given to me. I am hesitant to do business with Jiva and expect a refund.
