I hired Michael/Mike F***** as a contractor to fix my house damage after a tornado came through on July 4, 2022. He said the name of his company was Queen City Construction. I gave him a cashier's check on 8/8/22 for $10,000. It was for the roof replacement and gutters. I had a roof and water damage from the storm. He ordered the supplies immediately and did get my roof replaced. He said that they would do the gutters with the siding. I had siding damage to my house and garage, my back door and storm door were bashed in, and 2 window screens torn. I gave him a $6,000 check for the siding, doors, and screens. My back door was boarded up (and still is), and I said that it was a priority for me. He said the siding was on backorder for 3-4 weeks. I said that it was fine and I understood, and I checked in weekly. I would text him for updates, and we would say no nothing yet. He stopped responding to my texts after 10/27/22. My phone calls went straight to voicemail, and my voicemails were never returned. I luckily had his email, ************************** I emailed him and finally received an email back on 11/7/22. He said that sorry he had been sick but he would get guys out there next week. It never happened, and I continued to send constant emails. He stopped responding to emails on 12/1/22, after saying that he'd get the gutter guys out to my house tomorrow and the siding guys next week. And nothing. Now I do not receive emails back, and I have emailed almost ever day for weeks. Phone calls go straight to voicemail. And texts unanswered. I want my money returned so my house can finally be fixed. That is over $7,000 for work that has not been completed. I just went through -30 temperatures with a boarded up door, and I cannot heat my house well.
