      I have 2 complaints and no one from the bank is getting back to me.Issue one is the amount of bank fees for the year of 2024 totaling over $3,000. The bank needs to look into this and fix it.Issue two is my car was repossessed. I collected all my property but they would not let me take subwoofers, amplifier and speaker box from the trunk. I paid $600 and they need to refund me the money. Ive tried to file a complaint with them, but no one would let me talk to a supervisor.These need to be addressed asap!

      I spoke to Huntington, they are now allowing me to get my speakers from my vehicle, but they are not doing anything regarding the fees over $3,000 on my checking account. I am not satisfied with this, let them know I would let BBB know and will be closing my account with them. How they are able to get away with charging so many fees is insane and they need to fix it!

      The week of October 21st, Huntington closed my checking account without prior notification. I still have not received the funds from this account 10 days later. The first notice I had was when my employer could not deposit my payroll check.Then on Tuesday, October 29th I went into the Plymouth branch to make a cash deposit into my Joint checking account (Joint with Spouse ********* ********) and was told my account was frozen, I couldn't make deposits or have access to my funds. No explanation, No prior notice given. We have been customers of ********************** and ******** who Huntington acquired for 30 years. We have a Home Equity loan currently also. The Bank Manager and Assistant advocated on my behalf with the Regional Manager and others to no avail. I still was never given an explanation why my account was suddenly frozen about 2 months after I was a fraud victim. On Wednesday, the Branch Manager **** said I could come in and get the funds in my Joint account. I still don't have the funds from my individual checking account. The bank actions has triggered multiple problems, credit card payments and other bills we paid recently rejected. Auto deposits from ********************, and a monthly Annuity payment and Pension from ***** all need to be stopped and routed to a new bank. I told the bank my spouse was in *********** for 3 weeks and why couldn't we close the account when she returned and this could be completed in an orderly fashion. I have spent countless hours trying to repair the damage Huntington Bank has caused to me and my family. I feel the bank has discriminated against me, acted recklessly and has failed to communicate and give proper notice before closing the account.

      I never received a letter from Huntington Bank regarding my Joint checking account being closed.  There has not been an explanation for freezing my accounts including a joint account with my wife ****** ********.  

      I have had phone conversations with ********* of the Customer Advocacy team who assisted with some withdrawals from the account.

      I am not satisfied with the response.

      We had a number of auto payments declined even though there were funds in the account.

      I was denied access to my funds and was not given any time to move my payroll deposits to another bank.

      I want my complaint kept open.

      Huntington Bank refuses to grant me a credit increase on my credit card. They also will not give me an explanation nor let me talk to someone other than someone on their "help desk" line. Every time I apply for an increase I get word salad letters saying "Huntington credit limit exceeds max available for a line increase." Who wrote that, ****** ******?

      Another letter states that my request for an increase is denied because "Recent credit limit change on Huntington credit card." There was never any change. That is what I am trying to accomplish. HELLO! *******? *******?

      During ANOTHER call I made to Huntington's CC help desk they told me they don't know why I got such letters and said they DON'T deal with limit increases. Who does? If brains were gasoline these people would be able to power an ant around the inside of a donut hole.

      I want some human to tell me in *** American English who makes theses decisions and why I am continually being denied with no cogent explanations. I have researched my credit bureaus' data and there are no issues.

      Is this any way to run a bank? Who's on first, what's on second and I don't know's on third.

      It's to much to upload but I have proof of my account being accessed while I was incarcerated. I did not give anyone permission to access my funds. I'm missing ****** out of my Huntington bank account. I went to the *********** branch and did everything they asked of me including a police report. The lady that started working on my case just stopped and left to another branch. ***** warned me of that I gave it about a month and went there for them to tell me that the lady who was supposed to be helping me left that branch and no one has been helping me resolve this issue .I met with ****** *. The branch manager and she started disputes but told me I should tell the police I think my sister did it just because it's coming back in my sister's name but the truth is I don't know who did this and I need help . This money was from a very bad car accident I'm blessed to be alive and I would love help getting my money back to me asap. Please and thank you.

      Deposited a check issued by Huntington bank into my Huntington account on 10/21/22 that was valid & confirmed in branch by representative. Huntington flagged check & put my account /check on hold.Gave them info & helped them get everything from check issuer as they are able to view & confirm in their systems as well. 10/23/24 & they still have my account + money on hold as well as saying my account may be closed & they will mail me a check for the funds I just deposited in check form. I have a ***************** to feed. At this point it feels like Huntington is holding my money hostage & not helping me resolve the issue correctly. If the check has been cleared & validated why is my funds being held? I've called & sat in branch for multiple hours with no real answers or help.       I lost my job and in February 2024 contacted my mortgage company to see about payment arrangements. They couldn't offer me a deferral due to the type of loan I had, they said I could only do a forbearance. Was advised to wait on payments until they had the forbearance worked up on account. I made a June pymt of $1169.00 to get it started, was told my forbearance didn't start until July and they could not change the date so I left that payment to go towards balance. Called July 1st and made payment over the phone with customer service, a second pymt was taken by mistake and I had a stop payment placed on the 2nd one. Called August 1st for (2 of 3 pymt arrangements) received letter in the mail after that a stop pymt was issued. Called and had the stop pay removed. Called August 28th to make (3of 3) and then rec'd a loan modification in the mail, had it notarized by local branch and returned through ***. Now they are saying all pymts were returned, never taken but have since been wiped off of my account and no records to show otherwise. I have an attny friend trying to help recover the pymts taken and never returned, requested phone records be pulled proving my account was in good standing every month and they refuse to acknowledge wrong doing and want me to reapply for assistance and repay on what I already paid. 4 payments were made of $1169 or $1116.79 from June to September and only one is showing returned. My account has been adjusted with no way of proving of my actual balance at the time. I don't know how to prove they took my money. They have reported non payment to the credit agency while in active forbearance and ruined my credit causing to needed credit cards to be closed.

      Hello, 

      Please see attached all documentation that I have from Huntington National Bank regarding the mortgage I have with them and the forbearance process. These are all screenshot, let me know if not able to open.

      The bank has not contacted me since they received the letter from BBB.
      I have spoke with several people at a local Huntington branch regarding the checking account side and also several people over the phone from banking and mortgage. The local branch was no help in providing me documentation that I requested of all of my transactions on checking account and was advised to call, they told me there was no way to provide me with that because it was on their "back end". 

      I have made numerous calls throughout the forbearance due to the stop payment letters that were for only 1 payment that was not authorized in July, had local branch remove it and thet kept sending letters saying the same thing "stop payment" I would call and told everything was good with my payment every month to disregard the letters. 

      Huntington is refusing to acknowledge any wrong doing with my account or missing funds, there is only one returned payment out of 4 that were made from June to September and only the one listed on my transaction hystery per the mobile app. Nothing shown paid or returned on any of my statements and several discrepancies on the mortgage side that show paid, reversed and not adding up. 

      My checking account transactions were out of order by date as I scrolled up to look at hystery, this was also told to the bank and no call to explain why things were not in proper order for me to keep my balance correct. My attorney sent a written letter by (fax) requesting phone records and I was told that the bank went through the ones that were available (not all were recorded, they are saying now) 

      ****** ***** from the bank along with a manager 3 way called me to apologize for the miscommunication on their side that was given to me every time I called and was told my account/forbearance was in good standing. Even after receiving the loan modification that can only be issued after all 3 payments were made on time and notarized, that I now need to reapply for assistance and make arrangements to repay. 

      I am trying to save my house, but cannot afford to make more payments toward what I already paid and have since disappeared off of my balance. 

      **The page for notary was signed by a local Huntington Branch associate and mailed back *** to Huntington, did not get a copy of that from branch. All other letters were called on after receiving.

      I am also attaching the letter from my attorney requesting resolution and phone records be pulled, the bank has not responded to my attorney nor sent the phone records. Only reviewing them on their end stating that I was told wrong information each time I called and that I needed to reapply for assistance. They are saying there is no records of money coming out of my checking account, even though at the time it was taken and balanced out and never returned. The resolution I am seaking is #1. for them to apply the payments I already made to the foreclosure in July, August and September of this year 2024. #2. Send a letter to the credit agency that payments were made, to fix my credit that they have reported and ruined.

      Within the last year huntingtons pay by phone declines all of my payments unless their phone *** manual puts the payment through. I've spoken with many on the phone explaining that this is an issue that is causing my payments to be late.

      After a year of late payments equaling to 420 dollars, I am simply sick of it. On the phone every *** says I need to just get the app on my phone because it's easier. A company should not offer a pay by phone if it does not work. The account I pay with should not be declined when it is the same account I use with the agent on the phone. It's the same account that is saved in their system.

      And a customer's solution to stopping late charges should not be the customer using a different payment service. I feel personally with the way each *** acted on the phone that they are just trying to push people away from pay by phone.

      I've had this loan with them for about 4 years why is this issue happening years later it makes no sense? Again I've tried speaking with them several of times, and they fail to fix it. Then I'm left making multiple payments all at the same time and paying an outrageous amount in late payments.

      Personally I would like to see credit fixed, and a refund for the late fees. But at the very least my credit fixed.

      I put a dispute in for that with the credit agencies but all huntington changed was the dates payments were late, resulting in fraudulent dates. This is a poor way to handle a multiple year customer relationship and they need to be held responsible.

      I would add in screenshots of the account but ********************** prevents us from being able to do that. I've added the last 4 of the account number because it is all I'm able to see. 3689. It is for a 2014 **** Fusion

      I closed my account for this bank. I then received a notice that I owe for a security box that was issued to me decades ago that I have never used. When I closed my account I was told everything was done. Now I have a notice that I have a renewal fee for this box that I didn't use and that I have to pay ****** to close it. I was also informed that it would continue to **** renew for 44 dollars until I pay the fee. (I'm pretty sure that's covered in the definition of extortion.) I banked with them for over 15 years with no issues at all. Now that I stopped doing business they try to extort me for more money. Also I turned into he key over 5 years ago to an employee that no longer works there and they have conviently lost the records for it and say I have to pay to reset the box that i have never used.

      11/13/2023 I paid my ** 8.40 using Huntington's online bill payment system. He billed me again as he never received the check. In May 2024 Huntington emailed me a copy of supposed check, only it is not my **.'s endorsement on the back, as seen on every other bill payment check I sent him. We filed a sworn notarized affidavit that Huntington required, but Huntington still has failed to return that check as forged, refund my money, or otherwise do anything about it. I made this online bill payment 11 months tomorrow! Huntington has failed to resolve this dispute despite numerous calls, emails, & branch visits.
