For those of you on the fence on whether or not to buy a SawStop and from whom, let me tell you of my recent experience.Couple weeks ago I purchased a 3 HP PCS saw from Wood Werks Supply (thisiswoodworking.com) which is in Ohio. For those of you who live outside Ohio, THERE IS NO TAX! I was in email contact with a guy named ***** from the store because I wanted to make sure the shipment would be delivered in my garage. My wife accepted the shipmentwhen it arrived (I was at work) and the delivery guy said that had the store not paid extra for the delivery in my garage in the alley, he would not have been requiredto deliver where he did.I had also ordered a saw blade which was on backorderand was shipped later. Unfortunately, the blade was stolen since it was left on my front porch. I contacted the store to see if they had any short of shippinginsurance, they did not. So ok, kinda what I expected. Couple days ago, I ordered some festool connectors and without telling me, they sent me an Amana tool carbide blade without saying a word!!! Unfreakinbelievable and they are not a chain of stores, just local people who love woodworking!I have had some problems with my sliding cross cut table and have been in touch with SawStop. Once I was able to demonstrate to them that the sliding table top was out of spec., they shipped a new sliding table which is supposed to arrive in a week. The insert was chipped, which was mostly cosmetic and they said they're sending a new one of those as well.I could not ask for more, I mean I am stunned and will be making all my big woodworking purchases from my new favourite store in Ohio. With awesome customer support from SawStop, I really don't worry about having a local chain to buy from. Sorry for the long rant, but I would really encourageyou all to buy from this store. I have not been disappointed.
