While this is incredibly unfortunate - I feel compelled to submit a review at this level. Allow me to preface that this review is being submitted in kindness and out of concern for my sweet puppy. I highly recommend that the next time a new puppy owner is in for parvo vaccines that the vet stresses the importance of keeping parvo vaccines on schedule and the consequences if the schedule is broken - starting the vaccine process from scratch. I was a week late and was told I had to start over at my cost. I was treated terrible and had no idea that a week made so much difference in my puppies care. Not knowing this I also put her in danger as she traveled to Michigan. Not being a medical person I thought it was like a covid vaccine - you got your first shot then the second shot shortly thereafter. I learned that Parvo shots are very structured and if u go outside of four weeks you tanked the process. The cost is upwards of $300! Here I am petrified for my pup and having a full on anxiety attack and the office manager bans me from the practice as a result. I received no guidance on what to do for my pup and I am still confused. Huber Heights Animal Hospital shut their doors on me and without answers. There is a puppy at stake! As a customer who has always paid her bill in full and has been kind and understanding when emergencies have trumped my appointment I am at an absolute loss at the comedy of errors I am left to clean up. I'm not sure what changed but being a customer for over 30 years - I am stunned. Dr. Perkins is amazing and he was unfortunately not available to field my complaint. The disrespect for a paying long time customer is shocking. The post vet instructions do mention that puppy needs to be seen in 3 to 4 week but doesn't stress consequences if you don't adhere to this schedule. Future customers please ask questions so you don't end up in this kind of situation.
