I paid $2,000 for garage doors when I ordered them early August 2021. The doors were supposed to be delivered and installed in September but due to Covid and supply chain issues, I was told for months that delivery and install kept getting pushed back. It became difficult to reach them via phone in December because their receptionist apparently left suddenly on maternity leave. I last heard from the company via email in January 2022 that they are frustrated with the delays just like me and all their other customers but to remain patient and they would fulfill their job in the order it was promised. I had received infrequent emails up until that point but could not get thru to them via phone - calls went to voicemail but the mailbox was too full to leave a message. Today I emailed them and received kickback emails stating that those email addresses are no longer active. I still cannot get thru via phone and cannot leave a message. Outside of driving to their listed physical address, I have no way to get ahold of them and request a refund or status update on my order.Initial Complaint

On November 2, 2021 I had a representative from CLE Door came to my house to give me a quote on replacing two garage doors and fixing some damaged trim. He seemed professional and knowledgeable. We agreed on a style of door and a price. I paid for half of the total amount with a check ($3082) and was told that due to the supply chain bottleneck it would take a while for the doors to come in (expected in December orJanuary). Fast forward 6 month and representatives from CLE Door are no where to be found. They have not returned multiple phone calls and/or emails. They have disappeared. Furthermore there is a FaceBook page designated to people who have had the same exact experience with CLE Door. Multiple police reports have been file (as well as mine) and the Ohio Attorney General is in the loop as well.Initial Complaint

January was the transaction with Cle door company. At a quoted price of $2500.00 I paid them half to get a garage door ordered and in the future installed. With the price of $1250.00 I never saw any products. Was answering emails now it looks like email is deleted. Want to find a way to get cash back and make sure this doesn't happen to others.Initial Complaint

Matt P****** of CLE door visited my house on 11/30 and provided me the attached estimate for the replacement of 3 garage doors. I provided him the requested 50% deposit ($5300) on 12/1 and he cashed it that same day. Can provided a voided check from my bank. He told me garage door were significantly backordered and not to expect delivery till March. This did not arouse suspicion as I had heard this from others as well. In late March (3/22) not having heard from him or any other CLE door employee, I tried to contact them. I send emails and called on multiple occasions and could not get ahold of anyone. I then revisited the BBB site. Where there previously had been no red flags there were now dozens of complaints nearly identical to mine. While I fear the worst, I still have minimal hope for a non-legal solution. If I have not heard from CLE door within a week, I will file a police report and initiate other legal means to pursue this presumed fraud.Initial Complaint

CLE Door Company scheduled to repair our roof and gutters. They cashed a $5,000 deposit on October 8. No work was ever completed. The money was taken, and further damage has occurred in our home as we waited. No communication has been received.Initial Complaint

Cle door came to do our windows in September 2021 and never finished job. The wrong window was ordered for bathroom. Said correct order would be placed and installed 4 to 6 weeks after original installation. Called several times since. Voice-mail is full and messaged on website and no response yet we're paying on the financing and still not complete.Initial Complaint

I paid a $6000 deposit to CLE Door & Gutter in September for new garage doors and openers. I specifically worked with Matt P. (owner) and he was initially responsive and helpful. I was initially told November, and then the dates kept being pushed back. Matt informed me in January that he had the doors but was backed up. He scheduled an install date and then backed out citing weather. I have since not heard from Matt for weeks, despite multiple texts, calls (VM full), emails. I've tried to contact the business at least 10x with no response whatsoever.Initial Complaint

Today I became aware that the CLE Door company's two owners have a warrant out for their arrest for theft in their CLE Door Company. I had called them for a job on September 14, and they forwarded me the following information in an estimate. I paid a deposit of 1125 dollars and have not received a door, or service. We hired this company on August 2, 2021 to do siding on our home. We gave them a home equity check for $7200 down payment. We were promised work would be done in 12 weeks. After the twelve weeks I continually contacted them for updates on an install date. In December I was told they would have my home done by March. I was attempting to contact them today March 3, 2022 and learned that they are possibly out of business and the owners were wanted for taking deposits and not completing the work.
