I transferred a brand new square 3 3/4 cup Anchor Hocking glass container with about two cups of leftover pasta into a standard microwave oven for 110 seconds. I covered the container with a standard microwave cover bowl with exhaust port for steam. The explosion blew the container into very small, razor sharp chard and needle-shaped splinters.
