I rented a property that they managed due too circumstances , I had to replace the locks because they were defective which I had discussed with the agent at the time of the showing and lease agreement. It was $800.00 for the 4 doors dead bolts and door handles. After moving in the agent that we were dealing with had quit a few weeks later. It took over a month to finally get ahold of the property management company to return our calls . it was summer and I had told them that I was going to install window units so we could bee comfortable. Two weeks later she comes over and forces her way in and says that she is doing a 3 month inspection we had only been there 1 month. she told me that I had to remove the a/c units or she was going to charge me with window replacement , I did some research and found out who the owner was and contacted them , sent them pictures of the property and explained what was going on. I was explaining the situation and the owner couldn't believe it. We had the sewage back up and I call them and they would not spend the extra money because it was after 5 pm so we had to drive to the nearest fast food place to use the toilet that night. We spent a year there and worn any one not to rent that property if Tri State is still managing it. Also they are refusing to return my deposit, they said in an email to go to the portal to take care of it, portal or not it still has not been returned to my bank account which they have on file. 6/17/2022
