Upon reopening, *********** ********* discovered that our front **** was not functioning properly and in September of 2020 called Advance **** for a repair. A technician came out and "repaired" the ****, which allowed the **** to function for a few hours. After the **** stopped functioning, we called the technician several times to return. We were told that if the repair had not held, replacement parts were likely necessary to repair the ****. We were also told that it would take several months to receive parts, due to the shipping delays experienced from Covid. The technician, David, told us that he would return when new parts were available. Throughout the months between September and May we called to check in on the progress of the ordered parts, and were told that parts were not yet available. We received a bill for $900 and were told by the technician that our order for parts would be cancelled unless we paid for the work already done. We called asked the ******* to investigate, since no repair had yet been completed. The ******* had no record of an order placed for parts. At this time, we were also told that there was no other ******* in our area that can repair this type of ****. In May, we finally received a return call from Advance **** and were told again that our order for parts would be cancelled if we did not pay the repair bill. We again asked what the bill was intended to cover, but received no explanation. In June, we called ******** **** *******. They fixed the **** in 15 minutes. I am requesting a cancellation for the current bill from your *******.
