Not only did they try to charge me over $800 to rebuild an engine on my mower, but got so mad at me they gave me the engine back in pieces And charged me $30! They are crooks!

Mam, First of all, you did not purchase the mower from us. When you brought the mower to us the engine had a hole in it. As we have tried to explain before we do not decide how the warranty works in any situation. The engine manufacturer requires us to tear down the engine and send pictures of the inner workings. The engine manufacturer looked at those pictures and declined the warranty coverage due to lack of proper or insufficient lubrication. The mower does not have oil in the engine out of the box. As part of the setup process that we do on every mower we sell, we fill the engine or make sure the engine has oil. If ***** set the mower up for you, then ***** is at fault. If you set the mower up, then you neglected to fill the engine with the oil that is provided by Toro in the box. Here is there response to Us From ****** and ******** the engine manufacturer. "Following the review of pictures provided, the evidence shows that this engine was run with improper or insufficient lubrication at some point, consistent with the discoloration and metal transfer on multiple bearing surfaces resulting in the damage to other internal components. This is not considered a warrantable failure. We then tried to find an alternative fix for you. Due to the original cost of the mower, there was not an option we could find that was cost effective. We only charged you the bench charge of $30 ( our labor rate is $129 pr hour) for all our work in trying to help you. There was no need for us to charge you more money to put the engine back together because it is non repairable as we told you. Quite frankly, why isn't ***** handling your complaint.
