I would highly recommend doing anything other than using Hynes Construction for any needs you may have. My wife reached out to them to get an estimate for seeing if we would be able to financially add a porch onto the front of the house. She was able to speak with someone there and they exchanged information. To my knowledge, no one came out to the property to take a look, which is fine, everyone has their own way of doing things. Yesterday, she informed me that she received a call from Hynes with some numbers and that the quote was higher than the one other quote we received already, which again is fine, not everyplace is going to have the same numbers as they use different products and go about the job a different way. She did say she would like the numbers in writing when on the phone with Hynes, but didn’t get them. Again, everyone does their stuff a certain way that works for them. I left it at that as in my opinion, I needed to see if its financially possible before we really start to go forward. Today when I get home, she informs me that she got a text message from her contact at Hynes informing her to “Please lose my number, I have a family n truly I was trying to get the best Price for you n yours..” (would add a screenshot, but can't here). Really? I was not a part in any of the conversations that took place, but do we really think someone who is representing a company, whether it’s a company of one person or a company of thousands of people, should say something like that to someone who was looking into becoming a potential customer? That’s really poor and disappointing (would like to use other words, but I won’t) that this kind of person/attitude is now showing up on the business side of things in society today. It makes me wonder if we used Hynes Construction and something happened along the way that they were behind in schedule for whatever reason or if something wasn’t turning out like how we planned and we questioned them about it?
