************** ******** / Total: $188.26 We checked into this hotel on Saturday, April 22, for my daughter's basketball tournament. We decided to stay at your hotel, as opposed to driving back and forth. The girls were very excited for the overnight stay and we heard that many other teammates were staying at this hotel also. These are a few things that I need to bring to your attention: Deadbolt on the door wouldn't turn. It wouldn't line up, so we couldn't use it to effectively secure our room to our comfort. We could only use the top latch to lock our door. There were half used toiletry items in the bathroom, as if someone already helped themselves to them. Multiple hairs in the sink, toilet, tub and in the bed, under the covers. Food (chips) in the bed, under the covers. Wasn't vacuumed. Stains on the sheets, blankets, chair & couch. Dusty - There were strings of dust hanging from the walls in multiple locations and the large tree/plant in the room was horribly covered with dust. Dirty coffee table.. The coffee maker was also dirty. I explained this to the staff at the front desk and asked to talk to the manager. They told me that the manager wasn't there, but to check back in the morning. No solution was offered to address my concerns. They told me that the hotel was fully booked and they were not able to offer a different room, forcing us to sleep in this room which was clearly not clean or secure. All of this led to a very unrestful evening, In addition, at 11:30PM, the jets in the whirlpool tub went off by themselves, startling all three of us out of our beds with their loud noise. They stayed on for a few minutes, but then shut off by themselves. Upon checkout, I again asked to speak to the manager and they told me that you were not on site yet. I mentioned the above list of issues again and their solution this time was to simply pass along Veronica Chivari's (on site manager) name. I'm asking for a full refund after dealing with this horrible stay.
