To say that this merger from Republic to Fulton was a disgrace, unorganized, and unprofessional is an understatement and embarrassing. To leave workers at the branches to be screamed at and left to deal with the brunt of the problems is a disgrace. Thank God for ****** ********* at both the Clementon and ******************* offices who continuously tried to help me for the past three weeks. Thank you so much for your tireless efforts to get me up and running again. If it were not for her, I would still be sitting in limbo. No phone calls back or emails from anyone from the higher-*** or customer service. I will be looking for another banking facility to handle my banking needs in the future.Review from Shelley B

On September ******* I was contact by a company to refinance our mortgage We gave the company a personal check of ******* for fees. The check was deposit into a ************* na October 4 2024. We didn't get the Refinance because the business man WILL NOT RETURN OUR calls or text emails. I went to my bank (Fulton) signed an affidavit to claim my money back. The fraud department said that this isn't fraud that we willingly gave that money to the company. WE CANT BELIEVE OUR BANK WILL NOT HELP US. We've been with them for many years. This is why these SCAMMERS KEEP DOING THIS BECAUSE OUR BANKS WILLNOT STAND BY THERE CUSTOMER. This is apouling. ******** fraud said they would help and our bank I have called ******** and reported this situation. WE ARE BEYOND FRUSTRATED.Review from Angie G

This is the worst bank Ive ever dealt with. I was told that if I paid off a loan in the branch that it would be much quicker. The manager said Id have the title ***** days and that they only say 20 days to cover their basis but its usually 10 days. Its over 20 days and I still dont have a title. They mailed it snail mail and told me i should receive it in another 5-10 business days. Thats over 30 days from payoff. it was a lump sum payment that cleared the bank right away so this is a disgrace and could cost me losing the sale. I called customer service twice and they had attitude and didnt resolve anything at all.Review from Julie M

Horrible. They do exactly what law prohibits regarding garnishments. They disregard court orders. They garnish protected money (SSDI) and money under $500 despite MD law saying that's illegal. Then no one can help. ****** says call 800#, they tell you to go to branch.. Then tell me to call garnisher as if they work for him He can't unfreeze my funds only they can No accountability Plus now they have put the entire garnishments as a negative balance on my account as if they paid it. So now if my credit report pulled it looks like I owe $4000 to the creditor and another $4000 to bank. I truly have a positive balance yet they tell me I cannot close account. I went to a lawyer. Everything they are doing is illegal. Plus they ignored a judges ***** to unfreeze my money. I have proof of all this and they tell me I cannot talk to anyone from legal or anyone at all other than the branch clerk who can only send emails to the people who can"fix" this. In mean time I cannot access my disability money (my only source of income) due to their incompetent and unlawful actions.Review from Renee M

This Bank is the absolute ********** in the History of Banks. They are criminals and theives in my opinion. Went in 5 yes ago for fixed rate 2% home equity loan. They put through as HELOC. Have been complaining for 5 yrs that was done wrong. Interest went from 2 to 12% Have now paid ****** on 150 loan and wants ********************************************************************* 3 names of mortgage **** to refi to fixed rate loan?? I said " I've been in here every week for 5 yrs complaining and now not 1 dime has went toward principal and all of a sudden you have 3 names to redo as fixed rate after paying ****** in interest." ? FIVE YEARS I've been complaining loan was done incorrectly and always the same answer " we have nothing else" but now after 5 yr and ****** in interest paid begrudgingly they all of a sudden have fixed rate???? they asked me to enter all my debit numbers and then my security code on the back of my card…how can I possibly think it’s private information that they don’t have access too in order to activate it…now I activated it and they took out like 30 cents from my account that I knew was a scam! There’s nothing legal about this bank. Whoever is running the business knows all your identity information and can use it as corrupt information to gain a second account with other bankers or other agencies. Why are they stealing money out of my checking account. There is no proof the money is gone——I called up to find out what my balance was one minute before I activated the card and there was money missing. I’ve been watched by this fraudulent bank for many years. I’m done with it. Next step I contact the police.Review from William A

I have an auto loan through Fulton Bank. I have never received a statement from them. I tried to sign up for online banking and they don’t recognize my account number. I tried to call and after navigating the automated system I finally was put on hold to wait for a customer service agent, after waiting 15 minutes I was hung up on. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone. They are impossible to work with. They don’t seem to care about their customers at all or make it to talk to anyone about their account.Review from David W

I would NEVER advise anyone to have any financing done that is through this bank. You can NOT make a payment over the phone, you can NOT pay online unless you have a checking account with them. Our truck was financed through them & the experience was exhausting. Between the hold times and the lack of experience and having to be sent to or call a different department every time I called to get information was absolutely ridiculous. Best day ever was when they were paid off, 2 weeks after financing. If I could give a no star I would.Review from Sandra H

If I could give no stars I would. We have been customers of this bank for 50 years. Everything was great until a few years ago. Now they are threatening us with foreclosure. We were not told that our home equity loan had an adjustable interest rate. I applied for a 3 month deferral that was granted but now I’m told that was only because of covid. Then at their suggestion I applied for loss mitigation and was denied, only to be told now that home equity loans do not qualify for loss mitigation! We have been mislead and lied to and made to feel like deadbeats. I want to pay on it but they won’t even take our payments now. We are not deadbeats and are not trying to not pay our bills. We just can’t pay the amount they want. They won’t do anything to help us. They just want to take our house and put us out on the street. Worst bank ever!!!!Review from Don W

The Mountville branch employees, from my experience, the most rude teller's I've ever dealt with. Left there to have my business handled by the Greenfield branch. As a customer of this bank for over a quarter century, I felt like I was treated like a criminal for trying to deposit a paycheck signed over to me by my son. Despicable.
