I was at the casino on Saturday 8/17/2024 playing a slot that was near hitting the feature. I got down to 5 cents on the machine and got up turned my chair with my card left in the machine to go get cash from the ATM. When I returned there was a young white female sitting there playing the feature that I was near hitting. Mind you she was playing with my card still in the machine. I asked her why did she turn the chair and start playing with my card still in the machine, she then spoke up stating no one was here. She was with a group of others whom all saw me sitting there and saw me turn the chair. They then began to talk amongst each other and smirk and laugh as if it was funny. 2 managers came over and advised I should not turn the chair, that I should have called a technician over to watch while I go get more cash. At that point I felt very humiliated and embarrassed. The white female manager was very rude and condescending in talking to me. As a black woman I felt a sense of racism was being displayed. I explained to the manager how often I’m there and the amount of money I spend playing slots there, her response to me was “OK”. I then began to tell her I would not be back as I don’t appreciate the treatment which was very nonchalant, unprofessional, and definitely not customer service friendly and of course her response again was “OK”. I explained to both managers that I wasn’t aware nor have I ever witnessed anyone call a technician to watch a machine while going to cash out a ticket or get more cash from the ATM… I’ve always witnessed the chair turned .I learned something new and advised I would do so going forward. I receive free play, gifts, rooms, etc. which shows I’m there a lot. I have been a patron since I moved to Pittsburgh and actually love the atmosphere and how safe I feel when there. I have put near $700 in the machines at Rivers in the past 2 days. I would like this looked into ASAP. Regards, ******* *******
