I went to SS Motors on 2/22/24 to purchase a car. Mike R*** was the salesman. I told him I just went through a situation with my old car, advised I was moving and my job required me to travel. Told him I had children and needed a safe reliable vehicle. Mike showed me a Dodge Journey 2015 (white) which I liked. When he pulled it out, the vehicle would not start. He had the jump the vehicle and stated that it had been sitting long but should be good to go. He did not say any issues were wrong with the vehicle. There was no test drive offered or given, and he wrote up the sales contract. I drove to Ohio on Saturday 2/24/24, the car screen started glitching and would not connect Bluetooth or GPS. I called the office and spoke with Guy. Guy advised me to bring the car on Monday. I needed to stay in Ohio, but due to the car acting up, I drove back. Sunday Morning, the car was dead. I called the business, they were closed, so I left a voicemail. Mike called me back Monday morning 2/26/24with an attitude. I told him what happened and he told me he would not be able to service the vehicle unless it was there. The guy from Triple AAA came and tried to jump the battery, but it still would not start. I had another AAA person come and tow the car back to SS Motors. Mike did not call and say they received the car. On Tuesday 2/27/24 Mike called and left me a voicemail that the car was finished. I went to pick it up Wednesday 2/28/24 with m, with my cousin. He left the keys in the car, i tried to start it, but it would not start,., again. I waited an hour until he returned from supposedly getting parts. He immediately pulled up and put a battery jumper on the car. I advised that I could not travel with a car in that condition. He told me I had driven over 500 miles in his car and it was mine now. I told him to charge me for the mileage, he said he was charging me 5k. He did advise that he would let me out the contract, but I would forfeit my 5k. They now have the car and my money.
