Previously opened an account there by mail with a check from my bank account, replete with the bank's routing number. On 10-14-24 phoned and requested an *** funds transfer to Federated. Ended up having to call 4 times and talk to 4 different people today. Only to be given a variety of explanations why the *** transfer never happened, most notably that my bank had rejected the *** request (FALSE- bank confirmed today no such request was ever received). Too, clearly some of the reps were both unhelpful and also issued inaccurate information. Too, one asserted I needed to start all over with another round of *** application paperwork requests. Last person I talked to said I'd get a call back. That did happen, however, during the conversation she saw fit to continue to interrupt ***** all, took until fourth call before being FIRST told that in the original application paperwork I had included a deposit slip instead of an optional voided check; the former shows a different routing number than appears on my checks. so no *** occurred. However, per a reference above, the original check sent to fund the opened account of course contains the bank's routing #. But obviously Federated neither consulted that data on the image of its copy of that check, nor could it be bothered to contact me for the issue. In short, judged notably deficient, unaccommodating Federated's customer service.
