    I placed a order for varnish. There website specifically states *** ground shipping and my package would arrive Monday or Tuesday, so I placed the order. I am building a cedar strip canoe for a customer that wanted it delivered on Sunday Father's day. Which would have given me 4 full days to varnish and let 100% cure before moving. Then Jamestown distributors sends me an email that said your package was shipped *** sure post not ground and estimated delivery Thursday before Father's day Sunday. Not enough time for me to varnish and let cure. Now I will not be able to deliver my customers Father's day gift on time. If I would have known the delivery would be Thursday instead of Monday or Tuesday like there website states I would have never placed the order. This could cost me thousands of dollars in future sales and possibly my first bad review for not delivering what I promised on time. As of this review it is now Monday and just received there email about shipping and probably to late for me to order somewhere else. This varnish is very pricey and I can't always afford to order a product twice to set on till the next time it is needed. These canoes take months to build. Hope the shelf life is long enough till needed again.

    Hi *****,I was brought me up to speed with what happened concerning the timeliness of this delivery with it being switched to surepost. We apologize that this will be arriving later than you had expected. I just tracked this and it is now showing delivery tomorrow so hopefully, that is a little better.If you decide that you want to return it, just let us know and we will have it picked up. Please leave the box in its original sealed condition. If you want to keep it, we can offer you a 25% credit for your troubles. Please let me know either way and we apologize again for the delay.
