I wish I had read reviews for Graybar before hiring them to install a fence. Mr. ******** was very punctual to see our project and give us a cost. That was the end of his punctuality. ******** is a pleasant gentleman, but a liar. After you have heard story after story they finally become lies. In October 2021 we gave 1/2 down for a wooden fence installation in our back yard. At that time we were told they were out to November for the install. Here we are in March 2022 and NO fence. We have been to the "top" of the list so many times. We were always the next job after they finished their current job. But each time I talked to him they were finishing up a different location. Four weeks ago he had three men install our 4x4 posts. Not one was spaced evenly apart. Not one is the same height. Two were not in line and my husband had to reposition them (which ******** was suppose to come and check and he never did). When we were finally fed up and asked for our money back he couldn't do it fast enough. I think what happened was he underestimated the cost and didn't want to complete the job. He charged us $1500 for 4 hours of post installation and $300 for the removal of a small piece of chain link. The $300 was to remove "all" our chain link, but because he never showed up my husband removed the remaining 3 sides. He refunded us $1600 which when we priced out materials barely covered the materials let alone labor. If he had only been upfront and honest we would have paid more if it meant we had a fence. When I asked about the $300 I never heard back from him. Good luck if you use this company.
