Super Roofing Company Response

Typically, we wait until all insurance matters are settled before starting work. However, due to the severity of the hailstorm, we expedited the process to prevent further damage and promptly installed a new roof on Danas home. We used GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, adhering to Master Elite standards, and provided a 10-year workmanship warranty. **** was very satisfied with the quality, efficiency, and overall experience.
On insurance jobs, we do not collect any money upfront from homeowners, but payment is due immediately upon completion of the work, with a 10-day grace ******* Despite multiple attempts to contact **** by phone, text, and email to collect payment, she did not respond to calls or texts and chose only to communicate via email. At this point, her payment was over 15 days overdue, constituting a material breach of contract.
Although her insurance company issued her a check that would cover the complete roofing work, **** provided every excuse as to why she couldnt pay. Instead of fulfilling her obligation, she became aggressive and disrespectful, resorting to name-calling and characterizing our company as predators. All payment obligations were clearly spelled out in the contract that **** signed and were thoroughly explained during our customer meeting.
We did not charge a late fee and emphasized our need for payment to avoid further action. Danas failure to fulfill her payment is the sole reason for this complaint. Our commitment to providing top-notch service remains unchanged, but we cannot proceed with future work for customers who do not honor their payment agreements. The responsibility for this situation lies entirely with **** for not meeting her contractual obligation.
