      We purchased a living room set back in May, however, it took up to 14 weeks before it was delivered. We paid over $6,000 for this set in cash. The first time we received it in Oct. 2023, it was tour in a few spots, we sent it back. The second time, it was ripped on the loveseat, so we sent it back again. After calling the Greenville, NC store, requesting for the distribution center, to please have the delivery guys keep the furniture in the manufactory box. We were finally able to get quality furniture delivered. It was a mistake that we chose to give Ashley another chance. Our online purchase of a bedroom set included nightstands that arrived via *** during the first week of the order. The furniture was delivered on November 4, 2023. The back of the dresser was damaged, and a board was placed on it, the delivery guy admitted that it had been spray painted, and the headboard was scratched. I was told that it takes four weeks before the manufactory sends a new dresser and headboard. No one has offered us an apology. I believe we should be offered a discount of something for the inconvenience. Why are we paying for delivery if the products are not wrapped at all on the truck, which can cause damage to the furniture? I believe that all furniture should stay in the box until it gets delivered.

      We are very apologetic for this guest's delivery experience thus far and express this during our initial call. We offer 'Threshold' delivery, which keeps the merchandise in the original carton. This method does not include any assembly or staging assistance and is only upon request. Since they opted for premium delivery, we were required to remove most of the manufacturer's carton for assembly and pre-delivery inspection. Unfortunately, the merchandise was damage while in transit to their home. The order was refused and returned to our warehouse. Our delivery center entered a new for the headboard and dresser damaged in transit. 

      A representative from ******************** spoke with the customer on 11/29 and provided an update on their replacement order. As of today, our local warehouse is expecting the order to arrive the 3rd week of December. This is a tentative date and can load sooner based on product availability. Once received from the manufacturer, our scheduling team will contact the customer to schedule a delivery date.

      The customer requested the reorder to remain in the manufacturer's carton (pre-delivery inspection not included) and assemble in the home.

      Spent about $10k in Charleston on 2 bedroom sets, living room set, dining set with server, accent table & rug. On delivery, the furniture was scratched, gouged, unaligned & mirror was broken. The server was missing a chunk out of the foot & the delivery driver was told "it should be fine to deliver like that". We were missing most of the kitchen set. Driver said the warehouse doesn't care, sent it knowing it was messed up, gave it a kiss & said good luck. Was told they weren't supposed to put together our living room set but everything else was to be put together. They left it wrapped in the cardboard & plastic which took 6 hours to deal with because the screws holding the plywood to the feet were all stripped & some broken in the feet. Grace at Customer Care is extremely rude. She told me she was the mgr but was later told that customer care doesn't have mgt. Everything was supposed to be reordered but I still got texts from the tech that they were coming out to do repairs. The rest of our kitchen set was pushed back to August. The store offered a $300 total refund on $10k of furniture, which doesn't even cover tax. Portea in corporate promised to have this resolved with a $950 refund & $250 gift card and we were sent $100. The 2nd delivery came & was worse than the 1st. We sent one barstool back as well as it had so much glue oozing out of it & down the sides, it looked like a kindergarten art project. After weeks of going back & forth trying to get our new chair delivered, it finally came & the driver literally bounced it off our driveway & the yard decorations before dropping it down. I refused this chair as well as it was all damaged from the driver & he pitched a fit & threw the chair in the truck. I asked to be refunded instead of a new stool & was promised a refund of one barstool & another refund of $950 by 3 people. Today they said they were only doing $169 for the stool & not the $950. Overpriced junk with horrible customer service. Pics to prove it.

      We are very sorry to hear of this guests poor experience and are committed to providing a good customer service experience from the moment of the sale to delivery and beyond. This experience seems to have fallen well below our standards. In efforts to compensate for the inconveniences, we refunded 10% of the price of the order ($950) and also provided a full refund for the bar stool that was returned. We apologize for any disconnect regarding additional compensation, as the previous email correspondence with the corporate office confirmed with the guest the amount to be refunded as $950. The additional $150 gift cards that were not received, can be resent, as we have discussed with this guest, in subsequent email correspondence as well.
      We investigate and address all concerns and are committed to upholding a high standard in both production and service, from all of our team members.

      We ordered $15,000 worth of furniture on 2/1/2022. We were well aware of the time frame to receive our furniture. We actually received some it in April. That included an adjustable platform bed, sectional couch and a recliner. The rest was supposed to be in by the beginning of July. They delivered the bedroom furniture a king sized bedframe. When we received the platform and mattress we were given a box and the tech said "When they deliver your frame, give them this box, it has the hardware needed to put the platform in the frame. Now this platform weighs a lot. They assembled the frame, set the platform and mattress on top. We sat on the bed and one of the rails broke. They did not use any of the heavy brackets and hardware that was in the box. They also delivered a dining room table and 8 chairs, but did not have the legs for the table. It has been laying upside down on a blanket on my kitchen floor for weeks. I was told by customer service that they ordered new legs and a side rail for the bed to be delivered in 7-12 business days. That was 2 weeks ago. When I called today, 8/17/2022, I was told they would be in the middle of September. I have tried to return the furniture in question, was told they do not take returns. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered. What kind of idiot loads a dining room table on to a truck to deliver without making sure the legs were also there. I'm to the point that I am going to hire a lawyer and take the store to small claims court to make them return these items and refund my money. They had the nerve to offer me store credit, like I would EVER purchase anything from them again. I have already blasted this on social media with pictures to prove it, which I also sent to customer service and to warn people NOT to buy anything there. I have gotten nowhere with customer service. I only chose one star because it wouldn't let me post without it. I give it zero stars.

      Terrible , partial delivery of furniture and if you don't accept they point out in fine lettering in agreement they can give your partial order away. They of course never mention that when buying. We argued our point to cancel after waiting months with no full order arriving . It was for a sectional living room set and they agreed to return after weeks of discussion . I would have very serious thoughts about ever returning . Terrible management and store policies at Myrtle Beach location.

      I made an online purchase of a $1182 sofa on May 29, 2021. The item was delivered in August of 2021. I paid $100 to have the item assembled. The driver arrived three hours early. I had arranged for someone to be at my home at the scheduled time due me working on the delivery day. He had only waited at my home for four minutes then left when no one was home. I have a ring doorbell so I saw this. The person I had scheduled for three hours later raced to my house. He had texted me but I was working and did not see his text so he left. I called the driver and he agreed to return to my residence. He unloaded the sofa in my living room and did not even remove the package surrounding my sofa. I called and was refunded the $100 assembly fee. The driver said the person I asked to be at my home told him to "just leave it". She denies this. The delivery invoice stated there was a charge for assembly. Within a month of delivery we noticed a huge lump in one of the cushions. Then the other cushion started doing the same thing. I called the store at 4950 Center Pointe Dr. Ste 270, North Chas., SC 29418 and was provided an email *******@ashleycharleston.com. This is where I sent photos of the sofa. This began a process of visits and repairs consisting of my $1182 sofa being torn apart three times. Staples and stuffing/cushions removed and reinstalled. This has gone on for eight months. At one of the three visits that followed, the technician said this has been an issue with these sofas. He said he was not able to fix the problem. My couch is still not repaired and was not re-stapled when they were last at my home two months ago! Each time they attempted a repair and left, I would have to call or text the store back to see the status. The last visit was 3/30/22. My sofa is torn apart and I have had no contact from the store. I'm tired of calling and getting no assistance. IAM PLEADING WITH SOMEONE AT ASHLEY FURNITURE TO HELP ME RESOLVE THIS OR TELL ME WHERE I GO FOR A REFUND!!

      Not Worth a 1-Star rating! Buyer beware! So much to say with so little space! Placed 4 orders back in early Feb. Two were closet organizers for each side of our closet. We were informed that the items shipped in multiple boxes - 9 boxes each, a total of 18 boxes. 17 of the boxes arrived, and we couldn't do anything without the final box. At least 5 phone calls, 5 virtual chats, & multiple email conversations with 3 different people all ended with them promising us that they'd get back to us. None of them ever followed through with their promises. Completely ghosted by everyone we spoke with. 17 large boxes piled in a room for 2 months with no answers on the missing box. Finally, we received notification that the box was with *** in our hometown in NC. Surprise, *** confirmed that it was in ********. I've had to dispute the charge, and with ***' help, we've returned the 17 boxes. I've been so angry with the level of service that I've cancelled our other two orders. Well, I've tried to cancel them multiple times over the past 5 weeks but they aren't showing as cancelled and the charges are still pending (since Feb). They've actually offered discounts to stop us from canceling. Fine - get us our last box and maybe we'll reconsider! Of course, nothing. Today, 4/7/22 we finally had a fellow tell us that the orders were canceled and the pending charges to our card will be released in 3-5 days. We shall see. Their pending charges have completely shutdown the use of our card. They've had no compassion for the customer and have not followed the laws around when a customer can be charged. Nor have they released the charges in a timely manner, and required continual follow up to get anything done. We will never be doing business with them again.

      On 1/6/2022 I purchased and paid for a Simmon Standard Foundation Full CR Harmony Medium Pillow Top Mattress for my mom. We were told by the sales rep. it would probably take up to 3 weeks to be delivered. Our receipt stated 3-6 weeks for deliveries. On week 6, I was told the foundation only had been delivered to the store. Dates of 2/11/22, 2/17/22 and 2/24/22 were given to us for delivery of the mattress. We were told Simmon's were contacted to determine when we would receive the mattress. The front office told me with a smile per phone, we should expect to get a call on 2/19/22 for a delivery time. No such call was received. I called again on 2/22/22 and spoke with management and shared how I was given misinformation. The manager stated he would call Simmons and get back with me. He told my mom the mattress would be in on 2/24/22.
      As of 3/5/22 we had not received our mattress. We were told by management in our case it was unfortunate that there was a disconnect with Simmons. I cancelled the order and asked for my money back which I received on 3/6/22.
      We were totally frustrated by the poor service we received. We really wanted the mattress, and would not have waited so long but was told the mattress was being made. On each date the house was left in disarray in anticipation of receiving the new mattress. We were never offered another mattress only $150 for our inconvenience.

      Very Disappointed in this particular store!! Made a substantial purchase on September 27, 2021. Some of the items were on back order, so we made the decision to have all of the items delivered when all of the items were ready. The estimated delivery time was stated on the invoice to be 8-15 weeks. Eight and then 15 weeks came and went and we heard nothing from anyone at the store. When we contacted the store, we could not talk to the salesman that "assisted" us in the store. After holding for almost an hour, got the sales manager who had diarrhea of the mouth and did not want to listen and answer questions. He finally said the furniture would be delivered 6 months from the date of purchase. He also assured me that the sales rep would contact me regarding the delivery date. That was three weeks ago; still waiting on that call from the sales rep.
      Now, I am very cognizant of supply chain issues and other issues at this time. Because of that, I have tried to be patient. The store also agreed (to their credit), after dealing with several calls from us, to give us 10% off the total price; we only put down a partial cash payment and financed the rest with the store's 0% interest offer.
      The annoying thing is the lack of communication coming from the people at the store. This would be a much more tolerable situation if the people at the store made an effort to let us know what the current status of the furniture is. This is extremely poor customer relations.
      My best advice to anyone planning to purchase from Ashley Homestore is to purchase only what is in the warehouse and is ready for immediate delivery. Otherwise, you, too, could find yourself in delivery purgatory with no end in sight. As for me, this is my last purchase from this store.

      Horrible customer service!!! Do not let John R. help you!! Once he gets your money he will never get back with you!! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO GET FURNITURE!!!!!!
