    Ive been a customer with ********************** Expression since they first made their debut in Germantown. For the most part Ive had a pretty descent experience there, but my last visit took the cake. The owner, who was sitting in to help due to two of their groomers being out sick.appeared a bit irritated with the overload of clients and shortage of help. When I walked in, he was talking roughly to one of the groomers, who fortunately was there and happen to be an Afro-American female. His tone with her raised my concern that something was wrong. Check-in was chaotic and confusing. I carried my dog in due to leaving his leash accidentally. I asked if my dog still had an appointment due to their shortage of help, and was told that his groomer was out sick but I could leave him if I still wanted him groomed. This created some concern for me, but I opted to leave him. The groomer came from behind the counter to retrieve my dog from my arms. I placed him on the floor so she could pick him up, but in fear, he ran towards the door while I was attempting to sign in. I ran after him but another customer walking in the door let my dog out the door, so I had to chase him down. Exhausted, I was able to catch my dog and bring him back in the facility. I was a bit frustrated with the lack of concern of the customer that opened the door and let him out, who was now in front of me in line for check-in. I finally was able to complete my check-in and out of breath. While checking in, I made mention of my concern to the owner regarding the rudeness of the customer that let my dog out the door. He continued to express the importance of keeping my dog on a leash after I explained that I accidentally left it and I carried my dog in. I put him down in order for the groomer to take him to the back. The owner let me know if I was unhappy I could take my dog back and he would deactivate my account. So I did just that. What a way to resolve an issue. Hes racist and I will never return there.
