This is my second experience with Wolfe Co.(formerly **** Davis Restoration). The first time was an insurance claim on my roof, utility room, and gutters in the summer of 2021. I was satisfied with their work, and chose to use them to put vinyl siding on my house this year. They began work on June 1st, and the job is still not completed on my ***** sf. home! I have had to send repeated pics, emails, texts, and phone calls to express my dissatisfaction with the sloppy workmanship and shortcuts taken. *****(project manager), and *****(*********) repeatedly changed their stories, promising to make corrections a specific way, then denying that they said it the next day! When the new soffits were installed, they were not ventilated at all! Every attic vent was covered up! I spoke to the *********, who blamed the supplier. I asked why he put them up, and was told, Thats what they sent me! That was last Friday. Monday morning, a man I had never seen before came out and added some ventilated sections into the soffits. I questioned ************** about the tiny ventilated sections, and was told that Attic ventilation is really from the whirlybird on top. So, Im supposed to believe that the many attic vents cut into my wooden overhang are not really needed? This is after being told on the phone by ***** that the vents are needed to protect the roof, and allow circulation. I already knew this because I watched my house being built, and did much research! On 9/23/22, a so-called punch list was written in my presence, with an addendum added (at my request), and signed by ********************* that corrections be completed within one week. Today is 9/29/22 and only two items were attempted and poorly done! This is a $17,730 job, not covered by insurance! I have been in my home every day during the work, so I dont have to accept anyone elses word about what was done!
