This company uses deceptive business practices. Including continual manipulation of contract wording, requiring us to provide proof of funds before beginning construction while putting 3 day holds on checks without notice, employs people with questionable character, employs people without required skill set (hired a man to complete demo who had never worked in construction prior to), demands prompt payment while simultaneously avoiding phone calls and failing to meet ANY deadlines. The owner and lead on projects makes many promises they cannot nor intend to keep. They over charge for subpar work, parts and products. They do not listen to what you want, they take what you want and hunt to find the knock off, even if it looks nothing like what was requested. The owner claimed we had to use products that were from her suppliers only, or buy our own that was not included in budget. The measurements were never right, either making us pay for excess or frequently not having enough (didn't order enough flooring, ordered knobs that were terrible quality). Installations of parts were thrown in, mostly uneven or were the completely wrong parts. We would go days with no work completed with no warning. We had the master bathroom completely built, that was completed October 27, and now on November 20 have a sewage backup. There are many items and construction that was done poorly that they refuse to accept responsibility for. The brand new shower does not drain correctly with out assistance from my foot guiding it. The grout does not match throughout the bathroom, and isn't even the color that we requested. The office doors are always locked, and even when someone was inside they would pretend to not see us. The owner, in my opinion, is an opportunistic, immoral, unethical business owner who uses manipulation to price gouge for the jobs she agrees to. The employees practice eavesdropping frequently and report what is heard to the owner, who then weaponizes the information.
