I ordered a fuel pump with sending unit. I talked with *****. He guaranteed the part to fit. For a 1994 ****** Maxima. However it would not fit. Purchased Inv #****** for a 2008 **** Explorer Electronic Chassis Control Module Electronic Modules Chassis Control Computer Theft-Locking, ID ************* thru CH **** calls this a Smart Junction Box on 9/30/2024. Was told by *** that it would be overnighted to me. Instead I did not receive the part I paid $380 for but a wrong part #8L2T-14B476-CA. My part was supposedly being "tested" for over 2 weeks when I bought was told was in working order may only need to be programmed to my truck. Have emailed and spoken to this company to no resolution. I have had to pay for storage at the mechanic's shop waiting for the delivery only to get the wrong item. They do not care.Business response

Hi,
We accidentally sent out a part with incorrect part numbers, it was a human error from our end. The part we sent will still fit and work on the customers vehicle. the customer however did not want that part, offered a replacement with the correct part number, customer at first agreed for a replacement. She later started getting very aggressive and she kept using profanity every time she speaks with us, she was being very difficult to work with. We finally decided teh cancel teh order and on 18th October we have issued a full refund.

I am rejecting this response because: the part was for a ****** not a ****. They /lied repeatedly on phone texts and emails. They had the funds over 2 weeks. I incurred additional fees at the mechanic shop for storage as they are aware especially *****. They did not try and send a correct part they spent a week looking for one and each night at approx. 6-7pm EST ***** would call and state it was being sent out. This never happened then all of a sudden they wanted to issue refund. They still owe the additional fees I incurred due directly to their lies. The very least due to their extreme rudeness, failure to do as they said they would, total incompetence I expect the fees incurred by their lies. I asked after the 3rd day for a refund they refused. I had to pay $560.00 (14 days 2$40/day) for their behavior. I will not accept until this has been paid back to me.

Hi,
Our aim was not to cancel the order but to fulfil the order, these are used parts, we need to test them before they are taken off the vehicle, additionally this is an electronic part and needs several tests before shipping. Its time consuming. As per the customers request we cancelled the order & we have issued a full refund including the order processing fee. We again apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I am rejecting this response because: Very simple you lied not once not twice but every single time I spoke to you. You stated you had it, it was shipped. Every word was a lie. You were rude, uneducated in your profession, and worse a liar.You can say sorry all you want but after 5 or 6 time of "I'm sorry" it no longer means anything just another lie. you know what I am asking for, make me whole or have complaints.

Purchased an item for a truck and did not receive what I was told it included contacted sales *** I spoke to and was told there was nothing that they can do. We have thoroughly reviewed and assessed both the purchase and the accompanying complaint. In our professional opinion, this claim is invalid.
The customer purchased a used knuckle for a 1998 **** Ranger. After receiving the part, they contacted us to inquire about the lock ring for the spindle. However, the lock ring is not included with the spindle knucklewhether purchasing new or used. Even if this were purchased brand new from a **** dealership, the lock ring would not be part of the spindle or knuckle. It's similar to buying rims and expecting tires and lug nuts to be included.
I have also included the copy of the invoice. The part is however covered with a 30 days warranty, if the customer does not need the part they can return it and we shall refund them according to our warranty policy.

Purchased a engine for $1185 91 Dodge ************ V6, they said they did a 21 point inspection on the engine, when I installed is was leaking oil, overheating and smoking, I changed the water pump and gasket, thermostat, thermostat sensor, thermostat heat sensor, valve cover gaskets, then it started leaking water the head gasket and a hole in the engine, I have emailed and called with no response.Business response

Our records indicate that the engine was purchased on March 16th and delivered to you on April 2nd. We offer a 30-day warranty on all our parts, which means the order was eligible for a replacement or a full refund until May 2nd. Unfortunately, our records indicate that we did not receive any communication from you regarding these issues within the warranty period. The first form of communication from you is this BBB complaint.At this point the part is not eligible for return or refund as it is way passed the warranty period.
However, we value our customers and strive to provide the best possible service. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a $150 discount on your next purchase of an engine with the same specifications.

I am rejecting this response because:I did call before warranty but have no proof of such call but my call logs, quality auto is a scam company who sold me a junk engine and then tried to turn around and sell me another junk engine at a discount like I trust them, what a joke. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else, I'm out over $1100 and the labor to install engine, if this can save someone from this horrendous company please shop elsewhere. This company sold me the wrong engine I ask for a x they gave me a y that was complete junk. Here's the response to me from **** at quality auto "let's be honest it's a 91 parts are old " ME "but I thought there was a 21 point inspection." **** "we can't find everything" but we can sell you another engine at $150 discount I'll send you pictures this time" ME " umm can you give me a day to think about it" ****" yes "I get a email saying we will offer you a engine at a discount because the junk we sent you was out of warranty, feel free call and purchase another with a discount of $150. No thanks I'll take the loss and alert people and the BBB to your scam.

I am rejecting this response because:I have sent photos attached to email that show these problems, I have called before warranty as I stated I can't provide proof only a call log, I have dates of emails sent with pictures attached of these problems I have not threatened or defame Quality Auto in any way I am showing my experience with this company, a junk engine was sold to me junk meaning it went through a 21 point inspection and when I received and installed it the valve cover gaskets where blown, head gasket blown, all sensors blown, water pump bad and gasket blown, it was leaking water and oil, and smoking, that is horrendous for it going through an inspection yes I called but not proof you say I didn't email I have proof the emails are after the warranty but I did call before warranty, receiving a junk engine like is not right and bad business and it should be noted in taking the $1045 loss on the junk and the installation labor and walking, like i stated no thank you for the $150 I'll jist keep the BBB rating and hope people don't fall for quality auto i take purchasing items from honest business serious i hope you understand my position

I bought a used Motor for my ******* Truck **** Quality Auto Parts. **** ****** .**. Upon receiving the motor,Which was to be a ************* Tested . It was ***** be setting in the Dirt or mud, The Dip stick was Rusted off, So the Shop where i was having the work done ,Mechanic Took the Pan off to replace the Dipstick,then noticed part of the Timing Chain Guides in the Oil Pan. He said this motor wont Run. I contacted ******* Auto Parts ,after 4 phone calls and several people to talk to, Got permission to send it Back, I received my money for the Motor, Then i received a Bill **** the *********** .For $941.00 For Shipping, Called ***********. They lowered it to $641.00. So I payed it. I dont Think I should Have to Pay to ship a Non running Motor That was Junk ,When I was Promised a *************** ******Business response

Hi,
We are sorry that you received a motor that did not work for you, we did see the motor and do agree there was rust on the manifold and other parts, this however would not have impacted the performance of the vehicle, the external appearance of any part depends on various factors like weather and how long the part has been kept on shelf. Since there was visible rust and you were unhappy to install this on your vehicle we agreed to offer you a full refund. If you pressure wash the motor and flush it the motor works just fine.
As per our sales terms we do not reimburse return shipping, this is mentioned in the invoice too.

I am rejecting this response because: I was Sold a ********************** I have pictures of the ***** with the pan off, ********** ***** Would not RUN, I have a Statement From a Certified Mechanic that this ***** would not run.It had sat on the ground so long the Oil Dipstick had Rusted off. I have Pictures. Still this was suppose to be a Tested Running *****.They sold me a Bad *****. Should i have to Pay Shipping on a Junk *****.?

The engine was returned based on appearance, we did not receive a statement from a certified mechanic. So I had ordered a part from this business I was told that the part would be an exact fit, & also that its quality assured, & inspected by professionals to every specification. According to the vehicle that was given in the information the part I received was completely off a different year & a different model the part was completely rusted out to the point where the mechanics advised it not be used and also amongst professional installation, turns out that the part was for a passenger side rear axle when ordered for a driver side rear axle I had received the original receipt in the packaging that came from the salvage yard that quality auto parts ordered from and in the description of the part, it was nothing in which that was given to quality auto parts. Instead, it was a completely different part. We were told that we would have to pay for shipping if returned, which is ridiculous, considering the fact that they only paid $100 for this part at a salvage yard and we paid almost $400 for this part from ************************* turned out to be a useless part that was recommended by professionals not to use because of the amount of rust that was deteriorating components. When requested a refund be made, we were met with runaround every time I talk to somebody even though its the same people we were given different names, different email addresses & different different phone numbers, & when we would try to acquire about the refund/solution we were told that the previous employee was either off or took a day of leave & continue to be told that they needed to talk to their warehouse when really the part came from a salvage yard in ********************************* is in *****. It was around 3 PM and turns out the actual salvage yard that they really mean doesnt close until 5pm theyre refusing to refund this part and they continue to hang up and say that they need to talk to somebody else and we never get a email or an update, only that they need to talk to someone.Business response

Our records indicate that we just requested you to return the part, ask for few pictures to identify the claim and a refund was processed as soon as the part was returned. These are very basic and fair business practice.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced with your recent purchase, we have taken immediate action to rectify the situation. We have issued a full refund for the part in question, as per your request. The refund was processed on the 23rd upon receipt of the item back to our facility. Most of our parts are good, we are unsure how this missed quality check. We wish to serve you better in future.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
P.s although I did recieve my refund a death threat was made by a customer service agent in regards to me saying that in this country we honor our customers by doing the right thing once actions have been taken, and i was told to go die now after all that we had to go through to get our money back l, thats the last thing we should have been told.. it was unprofessional. And disturbing being that my mother the customer is an elderly woman, who was sent a bad and dangerous replacement in the first place. Horrific customer service. this agent should be terminated for that kind of behavior i did not make a police report because i was affraid that they would reverse the refund and make it EVEN harder for us to get our money back. Termination should be considered.

I ordered a *** module for my car on Dec 18 2023 from quality auto parts in ****** **. After a week had passed I reached out to Quality auto parts to inquire about my purchase. An associate who gave the name ******* stated to me that, he was sorry for the delay in shipping, but the part was being inspected for quality purposes. Also that due to the holidays the shipping was delayed. I understood and thanked ******* for the information and the assurance that I was receiving a quality used part. The part arrived at my residence on January 5th ****. Upon inspection and furthered attempts by the mechanic, he contacted me and informed me that the part was indeed defective!. I contacted Quality Auto Parts immediately and explained the the situation. The manager who gave the name ************************* apologized to me and asked me if I could hold on and not require a refund, they were going to find me a replacement part that would be guaranteed to work in my car. I afforded Quality Auto Parts several days to rectify the situation. ****************** stated to me on Monday that he would guarantee a replacement part would be shipped out in ***** hours. ****************** then made the same promise on Thursday, promising a replacement would be shipped out by Friday. I attempted to reach ***************** on several occasions today 1-12-24 to no avail. The representative whom I did speak with stated that they had found a replacement part, but upon removal the part was damaged. That to me is laughable considering no attempt was made to notify me about this beforehand. The associate asked me if I could give them more time, to which I stated no, I've exhausted all my patience and I'd like a full refund. She stated that she would give me a call back in an hour concerning my refund. Several hours later I contacted the associate only to be told, no information about my refund will be available until Monday. I feel this is an attempt to defrauad me and buy time. A timely vehicle repair has been ruined from this!Business response

Hi,
The customers claim is just partially correct. Yes Mr. *********************** did purchase a used Module form us, he claimed the module did not work. These are used modules, firstly they must be installed by a certified mechanic, secondly they must be reprogramed to perform on another used vehicle.
We are unsure if he even tried reprograming the part and if this was done by a certified mechanic. Customer does not have any documents to support his claim. (no diagnostic report, no receipt showing it was reprogramed).This being said we tried get him a replacement part however we were unable to get one. The order was cancelled and customer was issued a full refund on 17th January.
