************************** thank you for your feedback on the work we performed for you on 3/17/22. I understand your frustration with the situation but feel that your anger is not being focused in the right direction. The proposal we gave you had a base bid that simply included a backflow installation. On that base bid were upgrade options which you opted to approve. Those options being a hinged insulated cover, that as per the manufacturer's specifications requires a concrete pad to set on. Your family was so pleased at the time with our installation that you made and posted a time lapse video of it. Had the inspector truly had an issue with our install, we would have either heard from him or yourself about the issue. I heard from neither. Whom you should be angry with is yourself for not taking the proper precautions to protect the device before three days of temperatures in the teens. Had you called the office before the cold spell we would have happily drained your device and prepped it for cold weather. This is a service we do for our backflow customers free of charge. I did notice from your account that we did not test the device for you last year. Perhaps contact the last backflow tester that serviced the device and ask if he placed the protective cover back on properly. Did he shut all the vents so that cold air cannot get to the device? Maybe contact the manufacturer of the insulated cover. Let them know their product did not perform to your expectations. These would probably be better avenues to direct that anger.
I'm not going to dignify your slander of my technicians and company with a response. You are obviously upset and lashing out. One thing I have learned from being in business for over 40 years is that people will say anything to try and tear a company down when mad. Well, if you need to tear us down to build yourself up then have at it. I truly hope you find a plumbing company that will meet all your needs in the future. Should you find this company please be sure and take the same motivation you have right now and write them a positive review. It is a shame that you were so pleased with our work for almost two years and this is the first correspondence we've had since the installation.
