      **** ***** ** ********* I took my car there and they replaced the transmission. That was ok, I guess. They fixed the air conditioning system then it started overheating. I have the upper half of the engine rebuilt, and it has a new radiator. When I start the car and go on my way home the speedometer is no longer working. Then when taking it home the tranny starts slipping a little on the way home as the car is overheating and dies one time. I get the car started, without the ac on, and go home. I tell them my speedometer is not working now after the work they did. They told me to bring it in and they will see what is wrong. I brought it in and left it so they can fix it because it must have been damaged when they were working on the car. The mechanic told his supervisor that it was not working when I brought the car in the 1st time *** **** ** * *** ***. They were trying to charge me $195.19 to fix it. I told them no way. I don't mind paying for the part but there is no way I will pay for labor also on something that they did. They said they would fix it for free. I told them no way I will pay for the part. They said OK. I picked up the car paid for the part and the speedometer stopped working about a mile down the road.       Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Unfortunately or conveniently you left out numerous key facts. The first one is that the transmission we installed was used and YOU provided it. Second fact omitted is that you brought the car in and air conditioning was not working. You requested that we replace the compressor, but my technician noticed that your compressor was good. The problem was the wiring and we repaired and billed you for that. The fact that it overheated after we fixed the wiring has nothing to do with what we repaired. That is a separate issue. If there is a cooling system problem, the use of the air conditioner will aggravate it and cause overheating. You had already had overheating issues with your vehicle which is why you had the upper half of the engine replaced by someone else....not us. Your transmission started to slip? Well, again you provided it and all we did was install it per YOUR request. You say your speedometer was working and we disagreed, but we chose to replace the cable at no labor cost to you. Yes, you paid $21 dollars for the cable and it is your choice not to bring it back so we can inspect it. And honestly, I prefer you don't come back. Please contact me and I will gladly refund your $21 dollars.
