CON ARTISTS WHO USE FRAUDULENT BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING TACTICS. I called Frisco Limousine on 8/26. I gave them ALL THE DETAILS of the pick-up/drop-off information for my niece's wedding. They quoted me a price of $360 but said they'd have to increase it to $450 since the pick up was out of their usual zone. No problem. $450 it is. I called twice to confirm and received the same quote from two different people at Frisco Limousine. My sister booked the limo and put down a deposit. They actually quoted her a price of $360, based on the exact same pick-up/drop-off information. Fine $360-450. This range works. For precisely TWENTY NINE DAYS they had all this information and stuck to this price. THEN FOUR HOURS BEFORE THE WEDDING THEY DOUBLED THE ****** They called us and told us that they were changing the price to $720 because the pick-up location was out of their usual zone. We explained to them that nothing about our reservation had changed. We had already discussed the pick up with them by phone in great detail more than once, and they already added a fee to cover that -- so why did the price change? They didn't care and told us we could take it at $720 or leave it -- knowing full well they were putting the bride and groom in a major bind mere hours before their wedding, with no time to find a replacement car service. This pricing tactic is an illegal business practice, and we made this quite clear to them on the phone. I called them after the wedding and asked to speak to a manager. I talked to the same guy who first gave me the $450 quote. I asked for a manager. He said he WAS a senior person and authorized to make decisions. I asked him for an explanation, and he proceeded to mumble and trip over his own words for 10 minutes. He said he'd need manager approval to give us a partial refund. He said the manager would call me back. No manager ever called. No partial refund has been given. BAIT AND SWITCH CON ARTISTS! What they are doing is totally illegal.
