    Ged's Floor Store customer service is poor, fabrication is sub-standard, and installation was deplorable.They were not accommodating in answering questions regarding measurements or particular parts of the job. The sales team is not knowledgeable on the process.The sales manager and measurements team lack integrity!The fabrication team measured for the counter tops twice and still cut the slab incorrectly. The overhang is incorrect for the whole job.They did a poor job of matching the veining pattern for the seam.They did an inadequate job of putting the two pieces together. The adhesive in the seam doesn't connect both pieces uniformly. It also has large drip pieces hanging into the cabinet which the installers left.The fabrication team which had the measurement template for the sink under cut the whole. My sink accessories, which were provided by the manufacturer, do not fit due to the way they cut the opening. The cutting board sticks up about 1.5 inches.The installers performed a sloppy job while installing the counter top. They didn't ask before cutting into my house.After the install, I called the store to see how they can fix this. I was blown off and only able to get minimal answers but only if I called and waited on hold. It turns out the sales manager is the son of the store manager. The sales managers ability to deal with customers other than processing an order is awful. The only reason he has a job here is because his dad works there.Having worked in a customer service role this is a situation which needed swift attention and it was shoved to the side. I was told it was a "professional job", it was professional in the sense the people were paid to complete a task, but this was not a Quality job meaning it was performed to the customers *************** conclusion, Ged's missed the **** and delivered a poor product and an unsatisfactory service. I will never go with this company again. Don't make the same mistake I did, stay away!

I take all feedback seriously and aim to resolve any concerns my customers may have.After reviewing your project with my fabrication team, I did not agree with any of the concerns raised. It's important to mention that we had discussed scheduling an appointment for me to inspect the job, but the date and time had not yet been determined before you left this review. My goal was to address any issues directly with you to ensure your satisfaction.Firstly, you provided your own sink for us to install, which included a sliding cutting board. You mentioned that the cutting board didnt fit properly after installation. However, I found that the cutting board fit past the quartz without any issues, and the problem is with the sink or cutting board itself, not our installation. Since I did not sell you the sink or the cutting board, I recommend that you address this concern with the company from which you purchased them.To resolve the matter and ensure your satisfaction, I proposed an offer for a full refund and the removal of all the quartz, allowing you to start your project anew with another company. Its important to clarify that this offer was made solely to make you happy and was not an admission of guilt or a reflection of the quality of our work. Unfortunately, you declined this offer and requested a 60% adjustment to the invoice instead, suggesting that you would remove the review in exchange for this adjustment. I believe in maintaining transparency and fairness in all my business practices. While I am always committed to resolving any issues, I must emphasize that there are no issues with the quality of your job to address. The request for a monetary adjustment in exchange for review removal gave the impression of a quid pro quo, which can be perceived as an attempt to use the review as leverage rather than a genuine reflection of the work performed.I remain open to discussing any additional concerns you may have.Sincerely, **** Ged's Floor Store Management Team
