We wanted a company that would give us what we wanted at a reasonable cost. We read reviews for several companies and talked with 2 of the bigger companies, then called Kenny Rogers of Rogers Remodeling and Renovations. Liked him as a singer :) and now as a remodeler. We met, talked about what I wanted and talked price and schedule. Liked his style and up front honesty. We had him remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. New granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. He looked at our cabinets and suggested we paint them instead of replace them, as new cabinets were basically the same design as ours. Less cost! We wanted to remove our tub and put in a walk in shower. Started out simple, shower with a bench. My better half a day or so after the initial start decided she would like some changes. She wanted a rain shower head as well as a hosed hand held shower head. Talked to Kenny and he made it happen. There was enough granite left from the kitchen that he asked his granite guy to put a top on a small kitchen island that we use as a coffee bar. His guy did it with no charge. When first installing the top it got in a bind and a piece broke off so they had to recut it and used some of the broken slab to make the top. Shows me how his rapport with his subcontractors is. And that is a very good thing. We then asked him to paint the inside of the house. And managed to juggle his schedule to get that done as well. He moved our microwave from above the stove to a blank wall in the kichen, custom built a cabinet for it, with shelving for coffee supplies. Even put a wine glass rack on the bottom. He also built and installed a linen closet where the old shower had been, with a dirty clothes hamper drop in the bottom. Needless to say the schedule got pushed, with the changes but the slight inconvience is now well worth the extra time. If you want quality work with flexibility Kenny is the guy to get.
