            They put pink and blue markings all over my car, even though the accident damage was only along the passenger side. There was no disassembly of the vehicle. Instead, they guesstimated a high repair cost, which caused my insurance company to declare it a total loss, even though the car is 100% drivable. I decided to take the payout and keep the car. When I called JDS on Friday they wouldn't let me get my car until the storage fee was paid. I called my insurance company and they called *** to ask for the bill. But *** still would not release my car to me that Friday. Instead, I had to wait until Monday (they're not open on the weekends) when they confirmed the storage fee had been paid. Then when I picked up my car they didn't even bring it to the front for me. I had to go find it in the back parking lot of their place. And my car was still covered all over in blue and pink markings. Apparently, they don't clean markings off if you decide to not get the vehicle repaired there. So I had to clean them off myself when I got home, which took a couple of hours of scrubbing as they did not come off easily at all.

            Thank you ***** for your review and feedback. It is unfortunate that your repair costs exceeded the value of your vehicle which declared it a total loss. The markings on your vehicle are performed on all vehicles when they arrive. Green markings are the related damage and the pink markings are unrelated prior damages. It is not often that a client retains a vehicle once declared a total loss, but this does happen sometimes. The receptionist was under the impression that your vehicle was cleaned and parked in front of the office when your keys were given to you. We sincerely apologize for that confusion and inconvenience. If we were informed of your vehicle still having markings we would've gladly removed them and it would've only taken us 15 munities as the markings come off easily with soap and water. All feedback is important to us and we want to thank you for yours to prevent this type of inconvenience with anyone else going forward. Please drive and stay safe.
