    VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORKMANSHIP!!! Steve advertised that Uptown Roofing can perform many other services other than roof replacement. We contracted with Uptown Roofing to pour a back patio. The sprinklers in that area were NOT properly disconnected and now we have pipes leaking under the slab that Uptown Roofing installed!! I have reached out to Steve many times letting him know that the sprinklers were not working properly. He told me to contact his employee that was head of our job. Leo, has not come out to fix the sprinklers and now Steve is telling me that he has washed his hands of the issue! I wish we had not hired Uptown Roofing!

    Uptown Roofing Systems completed our contract with ***** in December of 2021. ***** did a final inspection on the work that was competed and made her final payment. ***** never informed Uptown Roofing Systems that she had any issues with her sprinkler system until 4 months later when Steve, an employee of Uptown Roofing Systems, received a text message from *****. ***** informed Steve that she was having sprinkler issues and that she had called *** *********, owner of **************, directly and without the knowledge of Steve or Uptown Roofing Systems to come out and work on her sprinkler system. ***** also informed Steve that Leo did some work on her sprinkler system about a month ago which did not fix the issue. ************* of ************** was not working for Uptown Roofing Systems as a subcontractor when ***** hired Leo to work on her sprinklers. ***** never contacted Steve or Uptown Roofing Systems directly about any sprinkler issues that Uptown Roofing Systems may have caused prior to ***** hiring Leo to work on her sprinklers. Steve informed ***** that Uptown Roofing Systems cannot be responsible for the work that another contractor performed on her sprinkler system. This 1-star review & complaint should be addressed to ************* of ************** and not to Uptown Roofing Systems. Thanks

    Below is the email we sent to Uptown Roofing Systems:

    Uptown Roofing Systems solicited us to do this work, and we contracted with Uptown Roofing Systems.
    At no time were we informed that Uptown Roofing Systems would not stand behind the work of its sub-contractors.
    Leo was the person that Uptown Roofing Systems contracted (not us) to do the work.
    We did not hire Leo, you did. We hired you.
    The sprinkler problem was not identified immediately because the sprinklers were not in use during the late fall and
    winter of 2021/22.
    You seem to insinuate that the work done incorrectly is our fault for not discovering it sooner.
    When the problem was detected, we texted you and you sent Leo to do the repairs.
    The work was not completed. Leo was told as much and refused verbally to do any further work.
    We apprised you of the situation that day via text.
    Again, we did not hire Leo. We have the texts as evidence that you were contacted, and you asked us to contact Leo.
    It is obvious that the sprinkler system was never terminated or re-routed ......simply paved over.
    Uptown Roofing Systems is responsible for the damage this work did to our sprinkler system and that may be doing to
    undermine the integrity of the slab and the foundation of our home.
    The slab poured by you has already delaminated in several areas and has two structural cracks.
    Because your sub-contractor will not contact you does not alleviate your company's responsibility to do the right thing.
    You have seen the video as the result of your work on the slab. I can't imagine you would be satisfied with that result or
    would want it shared with the Frisco community.
    In your text of 6/15/2022, you made it clear that Uptown Roofing Systems does not stand behind their work or that of
    their sub-contractors.
    I would like you to reconsider that decision and do the right thing.
    To resolve this situation, I would like you to hire a licensed and qualified sprinkler company to repair the work done incorrectly by your company and its sub-contractor(s).
