I am the type to shop local. When we discovered there was a ******** dealership in the town of MT Pleasant. I decided to take my **** Pro *** to have recall work completed. I called and scheduled a time and day I could bring it in. I also spoke to the service manager about having a full service/oil change done. I dropped it off and was called the following day to pick it up. Upon paying I received a receipt detailing the cost. At this time I discovered they charge $120/hr for labor. As I was loading my mule, the service manager came to speak to me. I made my disagreement known in a respectful way. I was told I could speak to the owner but I declined and just told them I would not be back. The owner drove up on a golf cart. When he was told I had issues with the cost of labor, he just laughed and shook his head back and forth. When I told him how I appreciated his disregard for my thoughts of his over charging, he stated while laughing, "I thought she was joking!" I commented that I wish I could have reaction to customers like he did when I was working (sarcasm). His disregard for the customer along with his dismissive arrogant attitude just caused me to drive the mule around my truck to get it loaded so I could leave. I told him, I hope that $180 labor cost you made lasts a while because you won't make another dime from me. He just turned and walked in his service entrance. I wish I had known just how little he cares about his customers. I would encourage anyone thinking of using this business to not do it. Go somewhere else, where they actually care about the customer. There is so much more to say but just know they are not worth the money. Spend it at a better business.
