There's a new company out there by the name Dr. ***** I assume are the same *** and ****** Alfano of Alfano Remodeling that we tried to use. Below was our experience with them. If I could give a minus star review I would. Facts about Alfano Remodeling, demo day was January 25. Very quickly did the demo but on July 25th the house had partial electric and water done. No sheetrock. No new doors. A 12 foot gap on the outside wall where the 12 foot slider is supposed to be. HOUSE IS NOT LIVEABLE!. We were not prepared to be out of our home for more than 6 months. The ******************************** the owners' closet. We were told that is against code. The kitchen window was installed too low and has to be raised otherwise it will be below the counter top. The insulation was blown in only to find out the electric and water rough in was not complete. They had to dig out the brand new insulation to install electric and water. No hangers on the new beams that allowed for the removal of walls. Joist are toenailed in. NO brackets. Recently a structural engineer reviewed the work and said the trusses were self supporting and should not have been cut. Per the contract, it was agreed that we would pay for all the materials up front. We wrote a check. It does not appear that most of our materials were ever delivered to the job but he did drive up in a new Raptor Truck. Per contract there was a 90 day completion date, we allowed for 6 months. Still have only 2 X 4 walls after 6 months and counting.More than one of ***'s subcontractors contacted us directly asking for money and threatening to place a lien on my property.We contacted several suppliers directly. We learned that materials we were told were ordered and paid for were, in fact, neither ordered nor paid for.
