    We were very disappointed with how we were treated at North Forest Family Dental. I arrived 10 mins before my sons' scheduled appointment. After 40 mins of waiting, I voiced my concern. The front office worker shared we would be seen soon, with no explanation for the reason for our wait. We waited another 10 mins. After an hour wait, I explained one of my sons could no longer wait due to a tutoring session we had to get to (which was scheduled in plenty of time for after his dentist appointment). As I questioned my concern for being kept waiting and for my son missing school time and not being seen, the office manager explained there was an emergency in the office earlier. I explained those things were understandable but pointed out that no one explained we would be waiting for them to catch up, but instead, we were kept waiting for an hour. Her reply was that everyone else had to wait. I told her that did not make it right and that we could have rescheduled had we been told. I went on to express that we were paying for a service and expected common courtesy. Her comment back was, "with your insurance?". Not sure what she meant by that, but I was offended. At that point, I asked that they stop the service to my other son, who they had just walked back, so we could just leave. I asked to speak to the dentist in charge. The front desk worker assured me the dentist was washing her hands and would be right out. I waited, but dentist never came out to speak with me or to hear my concern with waiting and the comment made to me by the office manager about my insurance. North Forest Dental's lack of communication has created another day that my sons will have to miss school, as well, their lack of insensitivity to our time was not fair.
