November 2020-November 2021 my wife ******* and I hired Landmark Credit Company to help us raise our credit score because we were up against a deadline to purchase a house. We paid $100 each totaling $2200 for 11 months. During the 11 months we tried to contact Landmark several times but rarely were able to speak with anyone in the correct department. We drove 15 miles to speak with someone several times. They would always tell us they were working on raising our credit scores but never showed us any proof. Ours scores were not increasing and the credit reports were not changing. Later on in the process they would use covid as a reason why they were not getting anything done, but they still kept receiving our payments. They claimed some of the bills would be taken off the credit report and some companies would pay back some money because they were being sued. 3 months before we terminated their services they had us come in to file disputes against some of the companies so those things could take place. We did not receive any money nor were any bills taken off of our credit report. For 8 months we saw no results. We feel we should receive a refund due to lack of service. After leaving Landmark the new credit repair company we moved to within two months had our credit scores increasing and remove several of the bills from our credit report.
