I purchased a ****** rug for my parents' bedroom from Mill Direct Floors in Alexandria, VA, in July 2021. Salesman was Mike W**** (******@mdcarpets.com). My father has Parkinson's Disease which causes involuntary foot movements. As a result, the rug underneath his feet has developed a dark, stained appearance due to abrasion. I have had the rug professionally cleaned per the ****** Carpet Warranty Brochure. The appearance of the rug has not improved. The ****** Carpet Warranty Brochure covers such damage under the Abrasive Wear Warranty. Specifically, "If, within the warranted period, the pile weight of the carpet, when compared to non-traffic areas, loses more than 10% of its weight, ****** will handle such claims as stated in the “******’s Limited Liability” section of this warranty booklet." I emailed pictures of the rug and documentation of the professional carpet cleaning to Mike W**** on July 7, 2022 for him to file a claim. I have called numerous times to follow up on the status of the claim. Mike has repeatedly stated that "****** is slow, the ****** rep doesn't return my phone calls, you need to be patient, there's nothing I can do." I asked for the ****** rep's name (Allison B****, ###-###-####) and have called her 3 times. She also states "I'll follow up" but I have received no updates from her. On Sept 9, Mike replied by email "The claim is still going on this is what they sent me ,Mike" with the ****** Warranty PDF attached. I spoke to ****** Consumer Affairs (###-###-####) on Sept 21 to get their assistance. They said they would reach out to Mike at Mill Direct to help resolve this. No one has contacted me. As of October 13, 2022, ****** has no claim in their database under my name, my phone number, the salesman's information.
