Our kids had attended OTA camp for several years at the gardens icehouse location in Burtonsville, MD. During Covid, many of their programs that the camp advertised as being included were canceled, such as three days swimming. For this reason, we believe that many families were displeased and did not return. In 2022, about a month before summer camp was supposed to start. We received a call from 0TA informing us that the gardens icehouse location was closing. The representative that we spoke to said that they typically issue credit for their camp. However, we insisted that they refund the money we paid because it was unlikely that we would be returning to OTA now that the camp close to our home was closing (The next closest location was towns away). In addition, due to the last minute closure of the camp facility, we now needed to scramble to find and pay for another camp. The representative said that he would call us back after checking. We received no call. I followed up with several emails to different people in the company and also received no response. I then left voicemails at OTA headquarters and again received no response. This is unacceptable and we want our money back. Some of the communications that I sent included: an email two nova@otathletics.com on August 2, 2022 and an email to DMV@otathletics.com on August 19, 2022. There were several voicemails that I had left in addition to these emails.
