      I am filing this complaint regarding Capital One Shoppings wrongful termination of my account and the failure to provide a clear explanation or restore my accumulated rewards. I have contacted Capital One Shopping customer support multiple times and followed all instructions to seek assistance, including speaking with several supervisors. I was advised to request a supervisor review via email, but my request has been denied without justification.On Oct 5, I discovered that my Capital One Shopping account had been terminated. This action was accompanied by a vague reference to a possible violation of terms regarding the resale of goods. However, I have not engaged in any such behavior, and I am not aware of any specific terms I may have violated. Despite my repeated efforts to request clarity and transparency on the issue, I have not received a specific explanation for the account termination. My accumulated rewardstotaling several hundred dollarsremain inaccessible, and Capital One Shopping has refused to restore my account or rewards.This lack of transparency and unwillingness to offer a clear resolution has been extremely frustrating. I have researched this issue and discovered that multiple other users have faced similar wrongful terminations and withholding of rewards. These complaints suggest a pattern of unfair and potentially deceptive practices by Capital One Shopping.I am requesting:Immediately reinstate my account and restore my earned rewards.Provide a clear, written explanation detailing the specific reasons for the initial termination decision.If these issues are not resolved, I am prepared to pursue further legal action to recover my losses and ensure compliance with consumer protection standards. I am seeking BBB assistance in facilitating a fair and prompt resolution to this issue.Desired Resolution: Immediate account reinstatement, restoration of rewards, and a clear explanation of any alleged violations leading to this termination.

      The checking account takes 4-7 days to process a check. And, upon receiving my first credit card, they closed my account in the first month. I made the minimum payment, and tried to pay the remaining balance with that checking account that took so long to deposit into. They told me to cut up the card and reapply, this is a waste of time and resources. Ive worked with better customer service than this, and had a ********************** card before successfully.

      Incredibly unresponsive and unforgiving credit card provider to work with. Even *************** is more receptive of life circumstances and basic requests. I will never open a Capitol One card ever again!!

      Capital one is a f****** ripoff. Paid off balance before due date and still charged interest. After talking to four different idiots they say theres nothing they can do about it. So f*** capital one.

      Requested Amazon Gift Cards though the Credit card rewards program. Received a partial order of gift cards, so contacted the customer service line to request the order I did not receive. The the customer service representative made some *********************** to my account which stopped the reissue of the gift cards. Spoke to a supervisor and was told they would need to escalate to correct the changes made and would take up to 2 weeks.After 3 weeks and still no gift cards, called Capital One again. Thew issue was still at the next level and it had not be looked at yet. Asked for my call to be escalated to someone or a department that could address my issue. Was told that there was no one I could talk to and that I needed to wait until they got to my issue. When I stated that I was confused as I had nothing to do with causing this issue and all I want was the $250 in gift cards, was told nothing I could do or no one I could speak with and that I just needed to wait until they decided to get to my issue.Completely confused how Capital One feel that it is acceptable to treat someone like this over $250 in gift cards. My balance is usually $4000-$6000 each month and I pay it off each month. I would think I might be a customer they want to keep, but guess not.

      Capital one is the worst credit card company you could have they close my account because a payment failed that I cancel which doesnt make any sense so they close both of my accounts

      Awful customer service, some of the highest rates around! I posted my payment before the due date to avoid a late fee, they promptly charged my debit card 12 DAYS LATER and charged me a late fee, when I called to dispute it, all I get is ****** ***** or whatever his name was from a call center overseas telling me there is nothing he can do. Capital One is garbage and I will never get another one of their cars, AMEX all the way!

      I am a victim of Identity theft and asked CapitalOne to close my credit card account and sent me the bill so I can pay. Their tech supports is beyond believable. After all the authentication the tech support said she will be sent me the bill via mail so I can pay the balance and closed the accounts. Weeks later, I still have not received the bill. I call tech support again. They refuse to sent me the bill and I asked I just want to pay my bill. The tech support refused and hang up on me. It appears they outsource they tech support to an incompetent tech support company in *****. The guy did not even know my account had already been closed and I just want the bill so I can pay.Either the tech support was in competent or the company trying to scam for late fee and interests.

      My due date was Nov 7 , I made the payment same day around evening time they charged me late fee for 25$ . I called customer service they bounced me to 3 representatives, I was informed that the cut off time is 8 pm EST and since I made the payment around 11 pm est thats why the fee was charge . Please refrain from banking with capital one they charge me 50$ for both cards, I live in ******** made the payment before midnight .

      Worst credit card in history which involves 40 years of using them. They sent me two cards; neither works at any gas stations. All my other credit cards do with no problem, and this very experienced card user has never had this issue with a card before. The Capital One customer service blew me off saying there was no record of that. Well when the error message on the gas pump displays, it indicated on both CO cards problems with the chip. No, I don't walk into the gas station; I just use another card ( last time it was my Discover card) which worked perfectly. I truly regret selecting it as a card to accumulate Frequent Flyer miles.
