I would NEVER recommend Anastasia Shephard. We hired her to photograph our October 2021 wedding and we significantly regret that decision. Anastasia demonstrated poor communication skills, taking 2+ weeks to answer email, 48+ hrs to respond to text and days to respond to any voicemails. At times, she didn't respond at all. She had a lack of organization and was overwhelmed with simple requests. She appeared nervous, anxious and put-off during photos. She shook while holding the camera, making us nervous for blurry photos. The contract stated all services would be complete in 8 weeks, which would have been 12/18/21. We were patient and understanding during the Covid pandemic and thus on January 1, 2022 when we had received nothing from Anastasia, we contacted her. We got a generic email response. By May 2022, she stated it would be 2 weeks more. When two weeks had passed, we contacted her again. She sent us a virtual library of photos, however many photos were missing. By June 2022, when we still had yet to receive a completed service, we contacted Anastasia to ask for all of the photos immediately as well as a refund on the photo album we had paid for. Anastasia was uncooperative and refused to provide us with the full album refund despite the fact that she had not begun creating the album. She violated multiple elements of our contract, was often unresponsive to communication, and did not deliver a complete product. Sadly, we relied solely on Anastasia to capture our wedding and now these photos are associated with our poor experience with Anastasia rather than the once-in-a-lifetime experience they were meant to capture. We spent thousands of dollars on her services that we regret. We are disappointed in the service we received from Anastasia. My husband and I would like you to know that we would never recommend her services and hope that no other couple has to go through what we went through. Of note, she did this to my coworker as well.
