Now is G&Y Construction. AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR!We hired them in Nov 2022, he told me he is insured, bonded and stuff but that doesnt mean they are good! He told me he has 10 workers. The project will take about 3-4months to finish. He wrote me a vague contract asking for 40% down payment! I talked him down to 15%, and asked if he has someone who speaks English. He said yes, so I signed the contract. My 1st time hiring a contractor! It got worse as times go by, he sent me 1 worker working night for a few hours latest is 12/1am. The site was a mess. A neighbor complained about glass in the backyard and suggested a temp. fence. They said the stuff in front of the house gave an impression of abandoned house inviting trespassers. He was only halfway done with the upstair windows because some of the windows were customized order. I ended paying him 15k then 5k to start/ finish electricity. The 20k just the panel, kitchen, laundry not the whole upstairs! He told me the old wirings can be reused, just need to cover them. The electrician told me its not going to pass inspection! The windows arrived, the windows were sitting there. The worker showed up at night. How do you install windows at night, especially for windows you have install outside so the worker cut the ******. There are room outside to nail on the windows! Why? Now theres no window *****. The windows were not fully installed. The contractor gave me excuses. Now plumbing, I met with him and his interpreter. I made him send me the materials for plumbing over the Chinese new year break 10days. 2 Saniflo toilets (trying to save $ on labor). I paid for plumbing the entire house in mid Feb. He told me it takes 2 wks to complete. Its been 1 month plumbing hasnt even finished until I demand to take legal action. He continued with excuses like usual! The first plumbing inspection was early Apr.. THE INSPECTOR SAID NO SANIFLO TOILETS. I wanted to end this work w/ them but they havent been communicating with me.
