Auto Truck Equipment Repair and Sales LLC Response
07/29/2024
She borrowed one of the company's loaner cars twice as a favor of a family friend who is acquainted with this person. She never paid for loaner or scheduled to take one. The loaner had been used by 3 other customers that week prior to last time she borrowed without problems or issues with vehicle. A back brakeline broke sometime while she had vehicle, and she did not report it to the company rather choose to leave it in the parking lot after hours. The company found brakeline broken the next morning when it was scheduled for another customer which the company then ************************ same day. She did not have the car 4 days the last time, she took it afterhours of past 5pm Monday evening to Thursday.
She called her friend and wanted our company to check her concerns with the Audi that two other shops had told her there was nothing wrong and they would not fix her car. She was told if we could fit it in between normal schedule which was busy, this was not part of a scheduled repair or planning. There was never anything with bushings mentioned. The tire sensors she wanted replaced on her car could not be replaced to the new system she wanted as her model year did not support it. The system she thought she had was from new cars. Previous shop tried telling her as well. We confirmed the other shops were correct. The reason the current light of her tire system was on was because she was not filling the tire to the pressure as indicated by make and model and clearly labeled on doors of car the correct pressure. She herself was under filling. Her AC was not charged by our company. In fact it had been charged at previous Auto Shop she took it too, in which they over filled/charged it because she requested it there and it felt like it was not keeping the car cool because she has part of the vents covered with decorative plastics covers which the air can't flow correctly. We did not charge her air, again that was done at a previous company. She was told this and knew this, this concern had nothing to do with our company.
