            On November 15-November 18th I stayed Wyndham gardens in Cross Lanes West Virginia. After my 2nd night there my leg bumped the air unit and the cover fell off I noticed it in that there was some kind of fungus growing to me it looked like mold. I went down to the front desk and they moved me rooms I didn't think it was healthy for myself or my kids which my son has really bad asthma to breathe that. After I checked out i got a notification that Wyndham charged my card $50 twice for a total of $100. I called the front desk the lady put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then she come back and she told me that They charged me because they thought I smoked in the room and I left 12 bags of trash. I do not smoke the person that was with me smoked outside and I did not leave 12 bags of trash. I did leave 2 bags of trash but they were real light I was gonna have me my four year old son carry them out if I found the dumpster. After I told her that I didn't smoke in the room and that I did not leave 12 bags of trash she put me on hold again she went and spoke with the manager which never did get on the phone with me she came back and told me that I would not get my money back that those charges are final. Then somebody was talking to her in the background and then she said oh yeah and last time you stayed here we found a needle in your room. I would never have a needle, I don't use needles, I don't use drugs. If there was a needle found it had to be from the previous person before me maybe. I doubt there was one they probably lied about it like they did about everything else. If they did find one after my stay supposedly then why was i allowed to check back in there why wouldn't they have charged me $50 then or said something to me after that. There is a sign hanging in the room that if you smoke there is a $250 charge why did they only charge me $50 if they thought I was smoking in the room why didn't I get a $250 charge. They didn't have any proof for these charges.

            We had booked our first night at a different location but wanted to move to be with our team. Upon checking in we should have known something was wrong. When checking in the front desk clerk was more then helpful but asked repeatedly if we were sure we wanted to change locations. I also should have recognized that there was an issue when on the check in counter there was a can of Raid to take care of all the bugs. That should have been our first clue that this was not a great choice. When finally getting our room which was well after the guaranteed check in time of 4 pm we understood why. The room was dirty, AC partially operating, food and debris on the floor, bathroom tub/shower dirty from previous guest and more. This room and property was distinguishing. After checking in to our room our kids wanted to use one of the two pools that you have onsite, upon getting there and seeing the condition even my kids who had been outside all day didn't want to swim. The pools were brown and not taken care of, enough for kids not to want to get into them. Our team spent a lot of off time around and when the parents tried sitting in the lobby they were unable to as the temperature of the lobby and hallways was warmer then outside. This should not have been the issue as there were plenty of ACs in the hallways, only one problem they were all broken, with no care to fix or replace them while our stay was happening. We took advantage of breakfast the first morning which was as expected knowing the property but what was disgusting is the staff not wanting to clean up the lobby tables until well after 2 in the afternoon with flies swarming the tables. Our entire team was very disappointed with this property and most of us ended up checking out early and finding other lodging options as this was not a place for kids to be around (we wouldn't even allow our kids barefoot in our rooms). I'm not sure how this property is even still open and passes health and safety inspections.
