WE WILL ADD INFORMATION TO THIS REVIEW SO ANY READER CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT IN WHICH THIS OCCURRED. INFORMATION IS LISTED IN ALL CAPS.
Don’t go there unless you want them to keep your money…. Had prescription eye glasses made and put down a down payment [IN SEPTEMBER, 2022]. Waited to hear from them and nothing. [PATIENT WAS NOTIFIED VIA TEXT, PHONE AND EMAIL SEVERAL TIMES....GLASSES WERE RETURNED TO LAB APRIL 2023] Called today [FEBRUARY, 20, 2024] to see about getting them and they had sent back to manufacture and kept my $120 dollar deposit for a restocking fee. Claimed they mailed me but when I asked what address they used they had transposed my address wrong and that’s why I hadn’t gotten any mail!!
WHEN WE ORDER GLASSES, WE ARE AUTOMATICALLY BILLED FOR THE ENTIRE PURCHASE. WE REQUIRE A DOWN PAYMENT BECAUSE SEVERAL PEOPLE DON'T RETURN TO MAKE A FULL PAYMENT AND WE ARE LEFT PAYING FOR MATERIALS THAT ARE CUSTOM MADE. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN THIS SITUATION.
GLASSES ORDERED: SEPTEMBER 2022. COST OF HAVING CUSTOM LENSES MADE FOR PATIENT WAS INCURRED AND BILL PAID TO MANUFACTURER.
PATIENT NOTIFIED VIA PHONE, TEXT, EMAIL AND POSTAL ON FOLLOWING MONTHS. WE CONTINUED TO WAIT FULL PAYMENT:

GLASSES RETURNED TO MANUFACTURER: APRIL 2023. OFFICE RECEIVES PARTIAL CREDIT FOR RETURNED ITEM. NOT FULLY REFUNDABLE BECAUSE ITEM IS A CUSTOM PRODUCT. PATIENT'S DOWN PAYMENT USED TO COVER THE COST OF MONEY LOST TO MANUFACTURER. OFFICE TAKES A LOSE ON PRODUCT.
PATIENT CALLS TO INQUIRE ABOUT GLASSES: FEBRUARY 20, 2024 (17 MONTHS AFTER ORDERING).
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE A LOSS ON PRODUCTS WHEN PATIENT WILL NOT PICK THEM UP. RETURNING THE PRODUCT ONLY COVERED A SMALL PORTION OF THE COST WE INCURRED FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COMPLAINTANT. WHEN BUSINESSES HAVE TO TAKE A LOSS, THE COST OF ALL PRODUCTS INCREASE FOR THOSE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE.
