My recent stay at the Grand Park Hotel in Vancouver from August 27, 2024 to August 29, 2024. is a nightmare. I have an early Hallowen stay in this hotel. My experience did not meet the standards one would expect from a reputable establishment as such hotel . Upon entering my room, I was appalled to find spider webs in the corner of the wall, dusty furniture, and small flies. The ceiling was covered in mold, and the overall environment felt damp and unclean. Additionally, the bed sheets were improperly placed under the mattress, which further contributed to an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. It seems that the room haven't been used for long time. In the bathroom, the unopened box soap is all wet. There are three bottles of amenties which are one conditioner and 2 shampoos. The 2 shampoos are in different colors, one is green and one is transparency, but there is no shower gel. The ventilation inside the bathroom is not working, making a very damp and wet environment on the walls and ceiling with molds. We immediately reported these issues to the front desk, but no action was taken, and there was no duty manager or room service available to address our concerns. We forced to stay in this horrible environment room at that night. The following morning, we reiterated our complaints, and the front desk assured us that the situation would be addressed. However, when we returned to the hotel that evening, no improvements had been made. We were promised that a duty manager would meet us the next day, but we left the hotel without any resolution. Given the significant discomfort and health concerns caused by these conditions, My daughter and my grandson sleep with nightmare for 2 nights, and got sick in their breathing system when returning back to Toronto.
