I called Honda Financial Services on October 28th 2024 in regards to car that was repossessed, upon requesting to speak to a supervisor, the agent on the line refuse for the allowance of speaking to a supervisor. Perhaps speaking to a person in management could have helped me resolve the matter, but I was denied that privilege. I need someone to get back to back as soon as possible please. I have making payments on this car for 2 and a half years and have just hi hard times.Business response

In March 2024, I purchased my Acura MDX from American Honda Finance at the end of the the 36 month lease term. I paid in full by check and re-registered the vehicle in my name. I paid my town excise tax when I received an invoice from my town. Subsequently, I received an invoice from Honda as they had also paid the excise tax. I promptly paid Honda and then requested an abatement in April 2024. I called Honda in early May ***************************************************************** it was mailed to *********, **. I have never lived in *********. I informed the agent that the information was sent to the wrong town and was told they would refile for the abatement. I subsequently called back in mid June and was told the abatement for was sent to ************, ** (correct town) on May 15, 2024. I called Honda Motor Finance in July and August after repeatedly speaking with my town assessor who never received any documentation from Honda. I was repeatedly told the information had been sent and there was nothing further to do. In August, I requested to speak with a supervisor and was told I would get a call back. That never happened. I called again in October and requested a supervisor who called me back and indicated that the abatement was again sent by mail to the town assessors office. I have been in regular contact with the assessor and still nothing received. Honda has not provided me any proof that this was actually sent. It is now 7 months later and nothing is resolved. I wait on hold an average of 30 min each time I call and have been unable to get any additional information.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The person that called was NOT a supervisor. I never received an initial call from a supervisor as told by the company. This person only contacted me because I submitted this complaint. He would not acknowledge the companys error on the account, as they have a checking number listed as a savings account and tried to put the responsibility on the bank. Since I had spoken with the bank, I knew this was not accurate. The contact person was manipulative and evasive, and wouldnt admit he was not a supervisor. They also did not acknowledge responsibility for the ***** fee assessed to the account for their error.
Sincerely,

Complaint: 22427672
I am rejecting this response because:This is an outrage. The issue is not resolved. It was made very clear that the car has issues and Honda did not research nor did they fix the problem. The car's mechanical issues have worsened since I first contacted Honda and the BBB and the car is now currently at a Honda dealership getting a third diagnostic for the numerous codes on the dash board. It is now now showing the following error codes. Road departure mitigation system problem, check engine light, ACC, brake system, collision mitigation braking system problem, hill start assist problem, electric power steering problem, emission system problem, TPMS, SRS system, stability assist system problem. A car with 50 thousand miles should not have these kinds of issues. I spoke to ********* at Honda Corporate on 10-11-24 Friday and she promised to follow up in a week. She has never followed up. To close this case with so many issues on the car and the car getting worse is an outrage. ********* at Honda Corporate is a bold faced liar. On what claims and on what research did Honda come to this conclusion to just close the case with no effort, communication or proper research? Honda does not care about customers, makes inferior products, and does not stand behind them. After close to 25 years of Honda ownership I will never own a Honda again. Also, this car was bought used and I am the third owner. This was confirmed by ********* at Honda. I have no way of knowing what happened under prior ownership. It is clear Honda is just trying to weasel out of being responsible and taking care of the customers and is putting me through undue ******************** hardship and stress. Now my husband and I both work and are down to one car through no fault of our own. I am working with an attorney. The lack of communication, integrity and respect that this company demonstrates is truly disgusting. I am working with a lawyer and will pursue the highest legal resources available to me.
Sincerely,

Complaint: 22427672
I am rejecting this response because:This is a bold faced lie. My concerns are not resolved. ********* said in our call on Wednesday the 23rd that there is nothing they (Honda) can do. Honda is a global multi-billion dollar coporation that certainly has the means to help customers. It is very obvious **************** does not care for customers, does zero research and makes zero effort. Reading comprehension skills are something Honda does not have. Car is currently being worked on with close to ***** in electrical issues plus other pending issues with the engine. Both Honda and my so called extended warranty company refuse to help in any way, shape or form. In no way shape or form is the issue even close to resolved. I have requested to talk to a supervisor or manager and am denied. I want this to go to mediation. I refuse to speak to ********* as she lies, doesn't listen and makes zero effort to listen or help and instead makes excuses for her incompetence. She claimed due to the fact I did not get the car at a Honda dealership that they cannot help. I bought the car at ***** Will ******. The car is used and I am the third owner. Why does where the car was bought make any difference? It is clear Honda is using any excuse in the book to weasel out of helping customers. Any message she leaves is so generic it is useless. I want to communicate with someone in authority that can actually help, not a corporate robot that is spouting nonsense. I have retained a lawyer and will not let Honda bully or intimidate me.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May concern:I am ******* ***** and on July 11th, 2024 I began financing the motorcycle referenced above from ********** Honda in **********, **. In the finance agreement, $1053 was for "Title Fee". I paid $660 to have the motorcycle shipped to **********,**. When I went to the *** to register the bike, they informed me I could not register it without a title. On August 28 or 29th, the *** sent a letter to Honda Finance to send them a title in my name so I could register the bike. I'll fast forward, I was made aware that Honda never sent a title. I went back to the *** about 4 times trying to get answers. I called Honda Finance several times to get answers. On October 9th, 2024, I spoke with one of your representatives named ****** *******. She emailed me and mailed me a notarized letter entitled: Permission For Customer To register Vehicle. She assured me that if I took that form to the ***, I would be able to register the bike. Well, I went to the *** today, October 12, 2024 and they would not register the motorcycle without a title. This is totally unacceptable! **** I have made 2 payments so far, I paid $660 to ship the bike and I've insured the bike for a full year at the cost of $112 and have not been able to ride and enjoy the bike.A request for title was made on September 25, 2024 from *************************************, *****************************************. They have not received anything from Honda about a title being released to them. No information at all! I respectfully demand answers! I want to know does a title in my name exist, has it been released to Pennsylvania ***, and is there a tracking number to prove it has been sent to Pennsylvania ***? I am requesting that someone with the authority to resolve this issue contact me ASAP, with correct information! I have done my part! Please have a supervisor or a representative with authority to call me Monday, October 14, 2024. Time is of the essence!Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate their initial response, however, Im waiting for the matter to be resolved once I receive a duplicate title from Honda Finance via the Honda dealership in **********, **. I have been in contact with a representative from Honda Finance named *****. She has been very instrumental in getting details of what happened. We believe the original title was lost in the mail because I was never provided a tracking number. Honda said they applied for a duplicate title and it should come in a week or so. Thats when Ill consider the matter closed, unlike what was stated from the person named ******* in the response from Honda. That was not appreciated! I want them to be sure Im not double charged for tax, title, etc because it was included in the financing agreement although *** done all the ground work going back and forth to the *** and contacting Honda for about 3 months not being able to register nor ride the bike since I had it. If possible, Id like ******************************************* to agree to credit me at least 1 month payment credit because regardless of the circumstance, I made 3 on time payments without being able to ride the bike once! Thank you!

I have opened a complaint previously against this business about an unwarranted derogatory **** on my credit file. They got back to me expressing that theyre unable to reverse the action. Their reasoning is that the account information I provided was incorrect, which is simply not the case. When I call on two separate occasions to provide my CORRECT banking information, (please reference the banking information provided over the phone call on the two separate occasions and you will see that it matches exactly with my checking account) AND I provide my checking account information separately online, one should think that would be enough justification to remove the **** in and of itself. I will repeat that I have not had a lack of funds in the account at any time. There was an issue on Honda Financials behalf in retrieving the funds from my account for whatever reason. Once I provide my (correct) banking info on multiple separate occasions in effort to pay a bill, it is not my responsibility to ensure that you take the funds out of my account. I will gladly take bank statements and all records and information pertaining to this issue to a lawyer and have them settle this in court if we need to. Im sure I will be receiving more than just a credit report correction if we go that route. I would like to just spare everyone the energy. Another piece of information, in your next investigation take a look at the phone call recording/ minutes, I make a specific statement in the phone call saying something along the lines of I would like to make sure that we have the banking information correct this time so that we do not run into this issue again. I then have them repeat the numbers to me in order to ensure that no mistakes were made in providing the banking information. If I spend any more time or energy concerning myself with this issue then I will make sure that I am compensated accordingly. My prior complaint number is #********.Business response
