My order # **********. I purchased a cargo liner for my vehicle. Upon its arrival, my husband and I tried for over an hour to make it fit. We have used Weather Tech in the past and are familiar with the product. We soon realized we were sent the wrong product. I reached out to customer service and was told even though they may have sent the wrong product.. I would still be responsible for shipping the product back. I did ship it back. I feel like Weather Tech should cover shipping due to it being their error.Business response

I purchased the back seat floor liner for my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica in October 2022 for $100. I have 5 year old twins and was looking for an easier way to clean. It didnt work with the kids as they have to be extra careful and step over the edge. The part by the door now curls up and they trip in it. I attempted to tape it down but it didnt stay. I have tried laying heavy bags on top to flatten it back down but it still sticks up. I emailed customer service to see if they had a fix and they wrote back asking for pictures. I sent back pictures but they never reaponded.Business response

We have a new and improved HP Floorliner that we can send you that is heavier and will work better. Harrassement of the first and the last time? I never sibscribed there products and there services? And I would like to know why I was sent an email when I have never used your services? I also would like to know how and why and when was my personal information obtainned as well as being aquired? How also why it was compromised and possibly sold to other companies? I also would like to be shown and see and view updates to show that my personal information will and are being permenently deleted? And that this company are full aware to never contact me again in this life? And I really would like an official apology? I also would like to have my case assigned to a real worker? One that speaks read and can comprehend english and does not have any types of ignorance when it comes to understanding my case really? The *** you spoke to on 1/31/23 did a search for your email address and made sure there was nothing associated with your information. I ordered front and rear floor liners for my new 2022 Chevrolet Spark LS on 09/13/2022 from WeatherTech, order #**********. On several occasions I have wet carpet on drivers front mat by left rear where their mat is not underneath the carpet where the fuel door release lever is. It appears that any water that that melts from the snow and/or wet shoes that obviously ends up at the bottom of mat and where problem exists the bottom lip is smaller and I think the water is simply running up over small lip or possibly my shoe when getting in or out the water is coming from that? I contacted WeatherTech 01/28/2023 by email 6:12pm & 01/29/2023 @ 10:16am ************************* replied asking for photo of the FloorLiner installed in the vehicle. At 11:32am 01/29/2023 I emailed 2 pictures to *****. He replied back shortly at 12:12pm that he double checked with WeatherTech design team and unfortunately that is the correct design for my ************* would not have anything else to cover that space. I then looked up Genuine ** winter mats and to my surprise their mats cover that entire space that gets wet and sent a picture to ***** but not reply and even called him and left messages by phone, no reply. My biggest complaint is that WeatherTech advertises they offer best protection or something like that and in this case the ** mat is better protection in my case, I paid $220.37 when ordered. *******************Initial Complaint

8/1/2022 *************************************************************** Weathertech *************************, CEO ********************************************************************************** Dear ******************, My name is *************************** , BSME, *** *** and long time loyal customer of ********************. I have several cars I purchased side deflectors due to the great *** quality. (I volunteered for **************** for Quality in **** as a certified auditor so I have very high standards).I bought a nice set of Weathertech splashguards several weeks ago to try to protect the great paint on our pastors truck : a 2014 black Silverado ****. They dont fit as the **** has a lip with 6 and 3 offsets (NO mention of that being an issue was forthcoming during purchase). They are brand New and documentation was included as to the purchase. It has been several months since purchased due to us moving and I tried calling customer service @ ******************** and they were absolutely No help at all.Im looking for Weathertech shipping leverage of costs and an RMA.The splashguard units were about $54 something dollars ballpark and shipping will cost me probably $20+ nominally (almost half the cost of the units) to send these back that I bought in good faith and was doing a relative a surprise favor drop shipped to us ************** ************ Home Or as a good citizen send me the rght ones and I will donate the others to goodwill or equiv.Any help you could be in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Date of order 08/04/2022 Order number ********** Customer number ******** Tracking number ************ Date of shipment 08/05/2022 Order amount $204.90 plus tax with my valley strong card ending in ****. I had to have that card blocked and a new one sent to me so i could not use that card for a refund to be processed. I called WT and gave them my card # ending in **** in which they did send another refund for the amount of $123.90 that i received on my chime card ending in #**** for a sepret product I was not happy with. The Weathertech said they initiated a refund to my checking account at chime card number ending in **** on 08/23/2022 which chime confirmed, however it never posted to my account and chime said that weathertech then cancelled the refund because there was no movement of money to my account. The refund should have hit my account within 5 days but it did not. I called weathertech on several occasions between the refund initiation date of 08/23/2022 and 09/02/2022. on 09/02/2022 weathertech sent me a notice of credit saying that the refund had been initiated on 08/22 for $219.75. and then after i talked to Chime support for hours they sent me a spending statement of what was posted to my account and the refund was not posted to my account as i already knew. So today on 08/07/2022 I once again called weather tech and they sent me a credit invoice saying the date of the credit for the refund, merchant number and so on. I then called Chime where they repeated to me a refund was initiated on 08/23/2022 but no movement of money was there.Business response

I will contact our ********************* who deals with our Credit Card Processors. We issued a credit on 8/18/22 for ****** to card ending in **** and a credit on 8/23/22 for ****** to card ending in ****. Since we do not deal with the banks directly we will need to investigate this more. Attached are the credit memos processed for your credit.

I am rejecting this response because: this is what your people keep telling me, but I believe they are trying to drag this out long enough that they Dont have to refund my $219.75. My bank said weathertech initiated the refund on 8/23/22 for $219.75 but then canceled the transaction as no money was moving to my account. I have here a spending statement that shows up to the last transaction done on my statement of my account and the money was never received.

I called weathertech today after I received only 1 of 2 packages (for a lampguard and application solutions!). I am missing the lamp guards. ***** claims they dropped the packages at my apartment mailroom. Only found packages for the application. Weathertech will not ship out a replacement until they "investigate" what happened. The company claims they will either send out a replacement or refund after that is over with. No way of getting another item shipped while checking on their end. What a way to treat a customer. The rep was rude on the phone and didn't seem to care at all. They even suggested I take it up with my credit card company. What kind of business says that to a paying customer? Absolutely trash of a company. Don't spend your hard earned money on them.Business response

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Your package shows delivered on 8/8/22 from FedX and we are in the process of doing a FedX investigation. We will be receiving a Case number and will proceed from there. Sometimes the 2nd part of delivery will be delivered the next day. We ordered floor mats for the front and back plus cargo liner with bumper protection, upon receiving the mats the mat on the driver side folds over. I've tried calling to get a replacement and just can't get anywhere with them, we ordered for our 2022 equinox ****** we simply want them to stand behind there nameBusiness response

I purchased a hard folding alloy cover for my **** F-150 on September 20th 2020 at weather tech in ***********. This past weekend I realized when my bed was open that the cover was leaking, in a fold of the cover. I dont see anything except water dripping. I look online and it says my cover has a 3 year warranty. So I drove to Bolingbroook weathertech Saturday 5/21. People were nice people were great. They had someone come at look at it and said ok no problem were going to replace it for you. Then stated that the one I have in fact is an old outdated design. And I will receive a whole new cover and rails in the next couple weeks and they would reach out to me. The cover cost me $981.82 with tax. Today I came home from work and in the mail I receive a small tube of shoe repair glue. And its the fix to my hinge leaking. The shoe repair glue is labeled hinge repair kit. I do not want put shoe repair on my $1000 cover, ontop of my ****** truck. The warranty says replaced up to 3 years. It hasnt been 2 yet and I was told by Will in customer service in *********** it would get replaced. I called and tried to get through 2 times today but this isnt how you handle a product that is so highly priced and above average for such covers should stand by their word. I also understand that they dont manufacture them they just put weathertech name on which is fine. I just need them to replace this coverBusiness response

Weathertech refuses to bother with a simple correction even though they have made another dangerous aftermarket product which I have proven in the photo I provided to the owner ************************* and President **************************** they choose to endanger my life and the lives of other motorists when all they have to do is provide me a safe passenger-side window deflector which Del ************* called me in a rant of ELDER ABUSE (I am 81) and admitted they previously made the clear deflector I need, clear, without a heavy tint which prevents me from seeing well enough in my passenger outside mirror to merge safely into the right lane when forced to. Weathertech should voluntarily issue a recall and Holingsworth's admission that others had removed the deflector confirms such. Weathertech is giving me the runaround with false statements including the name of another company who has a clear, not tinted, passenger deflector but this was found to be untruthful, actually, 3 retailers have informed me that no one else makes a deflector to fit my window. It was also untruthful that my Weathertech deflector could be "grounded down" with a grinder to open a clear view as if this could have been acheived, Weathertech would have ground one down and sent me the replacement. The existence of a "grinder" was just more ELDER ABUSE because ************* admitted he did not know what a grinder was. The number of companies making these unsafe aftermarket products without testing and refusing to recognize flaws when reported by the consumer has grown so rapidly that one South ******* firm does nothing but lawsuits against these unsafe aftermarket products. In a previous similar case in **** after five deaths, a manufacturer concluded that the cost of $11 per car to correct the safety defect was $71 million dollars more than the projected wrongful death lawsuit settlements so they decided to leave the unsafe product on the road causing many drivers to burn to death. **************Business response

We have had many conversations with ****************** and we are working toward getting him a lighter tint SWD for his vehicle for the fronts. It does take time to have them made and he is aware of this. He has been updated by one of the Managers in regards to the progress with the new parts for his vehicle.
